Great visuals, story delivers no surprises
... View MoreDid you people see the same film I saw?
... View MoreAt first rather annoying in its heavy emphasis on reenactments, this movie ultimately proves fascinating, simply because the complicated, highly dramatic tale it tells still almost defies belief.
... View MoreI think this is a new genre that they're all sort of working their way through it and haven't got all the kinks worked out yet but it's a genre that works for me.
... View MoreSo would I.Anyway, this is an enjoyable video dairy as we see the trio, filmed by Joe Cornish, go on their US tour of Hot Fuzz. We see them do interviews, lots of interviews, so many interviews of them answering the same questions over and over and over and over and over and over.......Seriously, being in show business sucks so much. The best part is when the trio have to do phone interviews. They get so bored that they start taking their clothes off to amuse themselves. The door opens and two women come in and get the shock of their lives."Er..... can you not do that?" asked Simon in embarrassment. Also, Nick Frost invents the art of cake flushing. What is cake flushing, you might ask?Well, during the tour, it was Nick Frost's birthday. They didn't want to eat the whole cake, so Nick flushes it down the bog. Due to the time differences over the states, it was Nick's birthday again. So more cake flushing ensued. We see the gang appear at screenings, do Q and A's, do photo shoots, tour famous places like Atlanta, Washington, the location of The Exorcist and Edgar goes to the locations to where Dirty Harry was filmed. They also mentioned that they went to the premiere of Grindhouse. We also have cameos from Kevin Smith, Harry Knolwes, Tim Dalton and Robert Rodriguez................'s sister.A good doc if you liked the tour and would like to know how tiresome promoting a movie can be. After a whole month of touring the states, they had to tour other countries as well. So much touring, so little free time.
