This movie was so-so. It had it's moments, but wasn't the greatest.

This movie feels like it was made purely to piss off people who want good shows

The storyline feels a little thin and moth-eaten in parts but this sequel is plenty of fun.

An old-fashioned movie made with new-fashioned finesse.

Cinematographer, The (1951) ** 1/2 (out of 4) The Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences produced this documentary-short that pretty much tells us the job of a cinematographer. We see what all he does around the set, which includes making sure the make-up works on screen, that the lighting is correct and what type of feel a scene should have. There's really not anything too special here but I guess if you really don't know what a cinematographer does then you'll enjoy this a tad bit more. We do get to learn a lot of stuff but I'm going to guess that the majority of people will already know this going in so the eight-minutes might go by a bit too slow. Some of the behind-the-scenes stuff comes from the making of THE PICTURE OF DORIAN GRAY.
