View MoreIf you're interested in the topic at hand, you should just watch it and judge yourself because the reviews have gone very biased by people that didn't even watch it and just hate (or love) the creator. I liked it, it was well written, narrated, and directed and it was about a topic that interests me.
... View MoreOne of the biggest problems with this movie is that none of the characters are likable. It begins with Franky (who suffers from a serious case of OCD) and Maia driving out to Franky's house where most of the movie takes place. Franky is a photographer and Maia, her subject for the weekend. The movie is spliced between scenes of Franky and Maia getting to know one another and of a man and his therapist, discussing whether he is violent and how miserable he is because his marriage is unraveling. You aren't sure how these two sets of characters are connected until the final scene. Overall it feels very disjointed. I gave it four stars because there was some interesting character development on the part of Franky, it was just unfortunate that there seemed to be little that was redeeming in any of the characters. I thought Laura-Martin Simpson did a decent job as Franky...who is meant to be off-putting.
