Absolutely Fantastic

Absolutely brilliant

I wanted to like it more than I actually did... But much of the humor totally escaped me and I walked out only mildly impressed.

Let me be very fair here, this is not the best movie in my opinion. But, this movie is fun, it has purpose and is very enjoyable to watch.

Anand L Rai has become one of my favourite directors! Himanshu sharma and Anand L Rai are the best in the business! The story is So amazing you'll laugh,you'll cry,you'll smile... Kangana Ranaut has done perfection with both her roles! No other actress would have done justice to the role!

I did not really feel up to watching Tanu Weds Manu Returns as I felt that Kangana Ranaut is somewhat stereotyped in such roles and it is tiresome to watch beyond a certain number of such movies.Last night I had nothing better to do and Tanu Weds Manu Returns was playing on TV. It was the best of the movies on offer and so I ended up watching. I'm glad I did as it was, rather is, a very good movie indeed.The movie begins dramatically with Manu stuck in a loony bin, having been driven there by Tanu's ways. Kangana plays a double role and she plays both characters very well indeed.All the actors are superb but this is really Kangana's movie for the double role. The cinematography and the sets are beautifully real.There is never a dull moment as the story unfolds with its quirks, humour and several poignant moments. I do not intend to write a spoiler so suffice it to say that this movie is really very good and well worth watching.

Just got done watching this crappy movie and all i can say is don't watch it. Usually like watching Bollywood comedy but this one has to be one of the worst i have watched. Absolutely no storytelling. A lot of scenes throughout the movie just left me scratching my head. What the hell did i just watch? About the only worth watching in this movie is Kangana Ranaut since as usual she was entertaining. Don't know what else to say other than this one shitty movie. I don't understand how so many people can give this movie a good review. You would have to be out of your mind to like this movie. Don't waste your time. Stay away from this movie.

Tanu Weds Manu: Returns is set 4 years after the marriage of Tanu and Manu and they don't seem to be satisfied at all. Manu is put into insane asylum after a tense marriage counseling which actually insane. Then Manu comes back to her home in India and just fools around with random men. Tanu is completely dis-likable in this film and her behavior is completely incoherent which is one of the main reason I don't like this film much and the ending as well which badly hated. The humor is witty and clever but the story is absolute nonsense and ridiculous drama which meanders for two hours. Ranaut also plays a Haraynvi athlete Kusum in a double role whose character is much more likable and is the saving grace of the film. Tanu Weds Manu: Returns is funny at times but that's all it has got. The story is insane, characters are obnoxious and the ending very poor. RATING: [2/5]
