I didn’t really have many expectations going into the movie (good or bad), but I actually really enjoyed it. I really liked the characters and the banter between them.

Very good movie overall, highly recommended. Most of the negative reviews don't have any merit and are all pollitically based. Give this movie a chance at least, and it might give you a different perspective.

You can deconstruct any artful endeavor, but at the end of the day there are some movies that are greater than the sum of it's parts. This is one of them. It was great to walk away feeling warm and fuzzy. The film managed that delicate balance of humor, sensitivity and poignancy...take risks and follow love in what you do and who you love. It's what feeds our soul!

Take Me Home - perceptively a divine movie which is kind of rare to get. I absolutely felt Happiness and warmth after watching this brilliant film. The Cast Obviously got their thing. Sam Jaeger and Amber Jaeger definitely got their wonderful chemistry. The whole journey portrayed with a stunning screenplay and cinematography. The plot with the innocent characterization of Thom with hidden personal and claire with the regrettable memories carried us with them. There are no kisses and regular romantic things if you expect. Its a unbound type for a romantic movie. I loved the dialogues during thom's confession for his action when claire was asleep. I really really really had best time while watching this. If you ask me whenever i would say Take me home is one of the best romantic film i have ever seen of my entire life. Sam Jaeger's wonderful debut as director and cast with his wife is really romantic in real time. A true movie that will always be a sweet memory. Best couple in this movie and REAL LIFE too. I am thankful for this movie Jaegers. I LOVE YOU both for this heart melting treat. I wish them to give more like this. Take me home - wonderful in screenplay, cinematography, dialogues, music, casts, locations, direction. THE BEST EVER.

I don't review things often unless I feel really compelled to. And this one compelled me. What a delightful film. The humor was on spot, but not heavy handed. The buildup of the relationship between these two was believable and I love how they handled themselves like adults would. I was bothered by one small scene in the beginning but the main character addresses it and apologizes for it later so I appreciated that. The leads have great chemistry which is probably partially due to them being married in real life, but (let's be honesty) at the same time we've all seen married couples have poor chemistry on screen too and so I think we can safely say their excellent acting played a big role too. I like road trip films/books/tropes and this one wasn't as predictable as I thought it was going to be. Sure there are a few expected tropes, but they were well done. This one was good enough for me to buy it to keep. It's one I can see lounging around and putting on during a lazy weekend. Highly recommended.

Just watched this for the first time...so glad I stumbled upon it. This is not the usual fair that all to often promises much but delivers very little. I did not want the film to end. I was completely captivated by their journey and I don't mean the road trip. Both so vulnerable in many ways yet both characters were pretty strong minded. Amber is such a class actor, beautiful, convincing and completely believable...and her true to life husband and director Sam was just as good. I thought the chemistry was superb throughout. Suffice to say that there are no predictable story lines and at no time will you lose interest. Uplifting and energising film. 10/10 for me!
