Switched for Christmas Trailers

Identical twins Kate and Chris Lockhart plot to be the other sister – at Kate’s office and Chris’ school – and take on planning their sister’s Christmas events. One rule, though: no romance.

A movie that not only functions as a solid scarefest but a razor-sharp satire.

The movie is not one of Candace's best. But considering the script she was working with.... it was ok. I wouldnt want to see the movie again, the premise about Candace playing twin sisters was a bit drab. there was no relationship between the sisters and the relationship between the father and the sister who chose to have a career in an advertising agency and the sister who chose to be a mother on the PTA and the committee for the winter pagent. I usually Like Candace Cameron's movies but not in this movie and the storyline was just boring.

I wrote my review when this first aired. I know Candace has her fans. I like some of her films but she can't act that great. She is pleasant but she is no Meryl Streep. Because Candace plays twins in this film she proves how limiting her acting is 2 fold. In this film Candace plays twin sisters. they each think the other has a simpler life. So like they did once when they were children they decide to change places. Now each twin has a vastly different life from one another. That should set up complications and it does but Candace can not pull off the dual role. Her "Twins" act the same. Candace does nothing to make each twin have its own "personality" . Candace you need to learn how to spend time building a character. Obviously you are playing a version of yourself and you are boring! At times you overdo your eye gestures like you are filming a situation comedy. This is not a bad film. It would of been a great film had they cast "An Actress" not a "Personality". You can call Candace an Actress but I really can'tLet's see how long this review stays up!

This was okay, another one of those Hallmark Christmas movies I can't help but watch at this time of year. Candace Cameron Bure is enjoyable, kinda perfect for these types of movies. Here she plays identical twin sisters who switch places and plan Christmas events for one another, but with one rule...no new romances. This proves difficult on day one.Candace does a good job with both roles, one twin is a single mom in a small town and the other is an executive type living in the big city. They both of course find love during "the switch" and the finale sees them getting caught out by their beaus. The romances are sweet, nothing memorable.FYI CCB's real life daughter plays her teenage daughter here.

I typically watch Hallmark Christmas movies for the drinking game aspect (i.e. main characters with names associated with Christmas, cynics who change and become believers in the spirit of Christmas, shameless brand plugs), so I of course decided to watch Switched for Christmas. However, my pursuit of getting buzzed was tarnished by Hallmark's incessant push to portray the city of Littleton, CO, as a podunk, fly-over, small town an hour away from Denver. Littleton is a suburb of Denver; it is an easy 20 minute drive between the two downtown areas of both cities, and the limits of both cities actually touch if you look at a map of the Denver metro area. It also has a population of like 50,000 people, so it certainly is not the small town that it is annoyingly called over and over again in the movie. So please, Hallmark, for the love of God, please do some research of the place in which your movies are set. That being said, this is easily one of my top 5 favorite Hallmark Christmas movies.
