There's no way I can possibly love it entirely but I just think its ridiculously bad, but enjoyable at the same time.

The film never slows down or bores, plunging from one harrowing sequence to the next.

Myself and my friends were all Skype calling last night and thought this would be a funny movie to watch. We were very wrong. Instead of settling down for somewhat of a good-bad movie, we were all instead greeting by characters that I'm sure I'll be seeing at the gates of Hell itself. The animation is atrocious. In scenes, either everyone has one texture, or nothing has a texture at all. There is no in between whatsoever, only those two options. At times, the animation looks legitimately disgusting to the point where I feel genuinely sick to my stomach. I remember seeing the water/acid texture and thinking, oh my God, that looks like bile. The colours clash so badly, no thought was put into any environment whatsoever; in fact, the colours they used for this movie are very reminiscent of the pre-set colours in MS Paint. Also there are scenes where the character is standing in a dimly lit room, but there is no lighting on them whatsoever - they just stay as bright as ever.Linked into this is the character design. Which is also, unsurprisingly, awful! They all have no charm or originality, and I think the main character's hair is one of the worst stylistic choices I've ever seen in my life. Also, the planet people (I'm not even sure what they were supposed to resemble) look borderline scary. These characters all look like they're from different universes and time periods - there was literally a pirate, wizard, floating moon head and princess in the same movie. Another thing about that time period thing - WHAT TIME PERIOD IS THIS SET IN?!?! At first I guessed medieval, but then we saw the villain's lair and there was advanced scientific technology? I was going to let it slide before I saw knock-off Gandalf take the main character to his SKY PALACE and take out his LAPTOP. Then, when I thought things couldn't get any more confusing in terms of time period, a pirate popped out from the bushes and there was a "Pirates of the Caribbean" scene to my utter, utter dismay.I can barely recall nor fathom the plot of this disgrace - the things that do stand out to me are terrible flying animations, gay lizards that raise a superpower baby, floating planets who watch over a kingdom that seems to only have 10 people living in it, super power high school, school students defeating a monster and a slightly pedophilliac knockoff Gandalf. Glorious. Also, if you're going to try and market of the success of Pixar's "Brave" with your knockoff re-titling - shouldn't she actually appear sooner? All the people watching this sat for a good fifteen minutes before Kiara even showed up and she didn't stay for very long.I don't have much else to say, other than this is a garbage movie, but my final comment is on the song.. "Super K". Despite it being bad like the rest of the movie, me and my friends did get a hearty chuckle from it, thinking the artist was singing "SUPER GAY IS WHAT I AM" for two minutes. All in all? This movie sure was something.

I've always felt that "Plan 9 from Outer Space" was the hands down winner of the worst movie of all time contest, until I saw Kiara. Bad voice work, bad script, animation that would have been state of the art in 1939, and I couldn't make any kind of sense of the story. I've rated over 4,000 movies here at IMDb and all I could think while watching this trash was, "is there any way to give a movie a negative rating?" I know there isn't but if one could this would surely rate a negative 10.I actually grabbed it on NetFlix thinking it was the Pixar movie "Brave" and really felt stupid for being duped by the title. Than a couple of days later our adult daughter came home with it from RedBox to watch with our granddaughter and I pointed out that it wasn't "That Brave" she was a bit sheepish, but I felt a bit better learning that it wasn't just me being taken in by the title and cover art.Use your time more productively, do anything but watch this dross.

OK, remind me again what film school(if any) this crew graduated from, because I'd like to add it to my Do-Not-Attend list. I'd be akin to forgiving them for the terrible graphics, but not for the boring, confusing, drawn out, strange, and extremely uninteresting storyline. If you're going to make your mark in the filming world, at least try to be a little ambitious, regardless of your budget. And calling this title 'Kiara The Brave' during the same year that 'Brave' came out is a great way to get yourself listed as a ripoff artist. You shouldn't have to fool people into watching your film because they've mistaken it for the real thing. That's a sure sign of poor creativity. I thought I'd give this a chance, because I could certainly do without the fancy graphics had the movie at least held my attention. It did not, and now I'll be placing this film to the back of my memory, hopefully to be forgotten forever. Do not watch this movie unless you're a Prof. at a film school using it as an example of how NOT to make an animated flick.

Absolutely the dumbest minute and a half of my kids lives. I can't believe Red Box thought this was worthy of being rented. An empty case would have been more worthy of being rented. I cannot begin to tell you how stupid, cheap, cheesy, and pathetic of a movie this is. We watched for a minute and half before I had to end the stupidity. I was thinking the rest of the night how many people had to lie to themselves or the creators for this movie to get from someones weird mind to the uneducated, untalented artists fingers. I would have liked to been their when the guy who came up with this dumb movie sat his family down and made his mom and dad watch the fulfillment of all their work raising him, paying for his education, dealing with his "starving artist" income... and this it what he has to show for it. I seriously would have rather watched this guys home videos or just simply sat and stared at my TV with it turned off instead of watching this disaster.
