Let's be realistic.

... View MoreStorm Over Wyoming finds Tim Holt and Richard Martin walking into another cattlemen versus sheepmen feud when they stop the hanging of Kenneth MacDonald's foreman. MacDonald is a local cattle baron who has been targeted by the foreman of the neighboring sheep ranch Bill Kennedy. Kennedy's boss is Noreen Nash who is coming west to find out why the previous good neighbors are feuding.Of course there is an evil scheme afoot as someone is trying to start a range war for their own benefit. It wouldn't be a Tim Holt/Richard Martin western without the amorous Chito making time with some woman. But this time Chit's amorous adventures pay off as one of his romantic amours, saloon singer Betty Underwood helps get the guys out of a tight spot. For once Chito was not getting a lecture from Tim about his addiction to the senoritas. That's worth seeing Storm Over Wyoming for.
... View MoreAnother in the series of RKO 'B' westerns starring Tim Holt & Richard Martin as Chito Rafferty. Holt is Dave in this 60 minute story- he and Chito arrive in Sundown Valley as cow hands looking for work, but arrive in the middle of a range war between cattlemen & sheep men. Trouble seems to be centred around Rawlins, the foreman of Chris Marvin's ranch- Marvin is played by stunning Noreen Nash. There's sheep rustling, murder and plenty of usual western adventure- comedy is supplied by bar singer Ruby who is one of Chito's long list of exes who wants to tie him down at last. An enjoyable adventure which continues for an hour and doesn't let up.
... View MoreI tuned into this movie one late night when I couldn't sleep, thinking it would be a quick cure for insomnia. Instead I had a pleasant surprise: it wasn't bad. A simple plot, yes, and somewhat far-fetched, but it was entertaining and the action kept right on happening. Tim Holt was an agreeable B-grade western lead and the support cast gave him good support. Not exactly a gem, but a reasonable way to spend an hour on a sleepless night.
