I really wanted to like this movie. I feel terribly cynical trashing it, and that's why I'm giving it a middling 5. Actually, I'm giving it a 5 because there were some superb performances.

The movie turns out to be a little better than the average. Starting from a romantic formula often seen in the cinema, it ends in the most predictable (and somewhat bland) way.

This is a coming of age storyline that you've seen in one form or another for decades. It takes a truly unique voice to make yet another one worth watching.

A teenage girl (Japanese adult video star Aoi Sorya) wants to take revenge on a psycho creep who raped her, so she convinces all her friends to pretend to be even younger than they are and work in a weird brothel for perverts. Meanwhile, the creep that raped her has embarked on a colorfully titled "stop the b*tch campaign" of putting an end to teenage prostitution by raping, and not paying, teen prostitutes (perhaps this would all make more sense if I was Japanese, but I doubt it). This movie is kind of mean-spirited and unpleasant, but it's also pretty damn hard to take seriously. The heroine is so bent on revenge that even when she tasers the wrong guy, she decides crush his testicles in a vise for a good measure (like all the violence this is done entirely offscreen, no doubt due far more to the low budget than to good taste). The brothel clients are all perverts in that they're patronizing high school girls and THINK they're patronizing junior high school girls (although the actresses are all very obviously twenty-year-old AV starlets), but they also have all kinds of other ridiculous perversions: one is a submissive, one is an "adult baby" (uggh!), and one has a fat fetish which in unique Japanese style has manifested itself into a fetish for female sumo wrestlers (uggh! again). And then there's the rapist who is a crazed, cross-dressing psycho who is always raving about underwear and his dead grandfather who molested him as a boy, and who, before he rapes the girls, insists on violating them with a large variety of vegetables which he carries around in a briefcase (and then later blends into an energy drink).Obviously, this is a VERY weird movie. It's not very graphic (thankfully, perhaps), but it's also not remotely erotic aside from Aoi Sorya who has a GREAT body (and really deserves to be in a better movie). Basically, it's like one long sumo wrestling match between ridiculously silly and tastelessly offensive without either really ever gaining the upper hand. I've been checking out of a lot Japanese "pink" movies recently after reading Jasper Sharp's excellent book "Behind the Pink Curtain". Some of them are actually prety worthwhile, but I would pass on this particular one.

This is one hell of a strange movie. Apparently based upon a manga and the follow up to an earlier film from the same director, this is really hard to enjoy. There is a brothel served by schoolgirls and led by a gorgeous looking but rather violent young lady dressed throughout in the classic Japanese schoolgirl outfit. She is after a madman who raped her three years earlier but he is still on his mission to stamp out teenage prostitution. He does also seem to have his own agenda which involves stuffing fruit and vegetables up young ladies whilst singing about his grandfather. As a further twist it would seem that he was probably abused with vegetables by the said grandfather as a child and hence the mess we are now all in. Gaudy, audacious, nowhere near as amusing as it thinks it is, this has some style but there is so much that is unpleasant. Maybe the first outing was better but dare I even try it?
