An Exercise In Nonsense

The biggest problem with this movie is it’s a little better than you think it might be, which somehow makes it worse. As in, it takes itself a bit too seriously, which makes most of the movie feel kind of dull.

I think this is a new genre that they're all sort of working their way through it and haven't got all the kinks worked out yet but it's a genre that works for me.

There's no way I can possibly love it entirely but I just think its ridiculously bad, but enjoyable at the same time.

This is a great film. I watched it back in 1986 and taped it off of television. As I grew up I watched it and loved every minute of it. It is again one of those films that was put out by Disney I believe and never reaired. I just wish that they would put some of these old 80's movies back on because unlike todays movies filled with violence, sex and bad language, these films actually focus on the family.
