Snowfire Trailers

A little girl living on an isolated ranch claims to have formed a bond of friendship with a pure white, "wild" stallion. The horse is well known in the area, almost legendary, and supposedly vicious. Is she just making it up, or is she telling the truth? If it's real, isn't it dangerous for her with a "killer" horse? Or is the horse as vicious as he's been portrayed?

Excellent and certainly provocative... If nothing else, the film is a real conversation starter.

A great movie, one of the best of this year. There was a bit of confusion at one point in the plot, but nothing serious.

I saw this movie when I was about 4 or 5 years old but only once! Though I forgot most of the plot - remembering little more than that it was about a dark haired girl called Molly and a beautiful white horse named Snowfire - I never forgot how much I loved it although I couldn't remember exactly why. So I searched for it off and on over the years, but nobody ever seemed to have heard of it. Then yesterday on a whim, I looked again and landed a virtual goldmine of hits on google, mostly fans like myself who long to see the film again. Upon reading the plot line, and looking at some of the clips I found, I realized how profoundly this film affected me, even at that very young age. The purity of Molly's unconditional love for the wild horse is in stark contrast to the selfish desire of those around her who want to possess him. It reminded me of a poster I used to have on my wall as a teenager..."If you love something, set it free, if it comes back its yours, if it doesn't, it never was." How wonderful that so many people remember this beautiful film and long to see it again. Not many films have such a deep affect on such a primal level to so many people - but that is just what a good film should do. What it says about having faith in what you know in your heart, the courage to act upon it and the willingness to let go of those you love is timeless.

I secured a copy of this on DVD+r for my sister this Christmas. It was recorded off a VHS recording of a late night showing off some Los Angles TV station however it is in color and better than not having it.Well I tried leaving the link but this web site had a problem with it. Seems it didn't like the word Snowfire in the link itself and my text was too short ten lines minimum. So where you find it is go to the I offer web site and search Snowfire in all categories among the books there will be a seller named TV time machine the picture of the white horse isn't snowfire's but the movie is the 1958 movie with the megowan family

My wife really loved Snowfire as a child and I read that WGN in Chicago used to air it occasionally on their "Family Classics" program. I've read so many comments here, and on other sites from Snowfire fans, that I am anxious to see the movie myself. I just e-mailed WGN and requested that they offer it for sale on their website -or at the very least schedule it for airing, as there are obviously many hundreds of fans looking for the movie. For such a small, insignificant film, it has apparently left a huge positive impact on it's viewers.May I suggest that any fan of Snowfire do the same. If we can make WGN realize that Snowfire has a large and vocal fan base, maybe they will agree to air this beloved movie again. If enough people respond to them, I'm convinced that they'll listen.

I have been searching for this movie for a long time and I just can't believe that it has not been made available for the public to purchase for everyone to see. I remember watching it on Family Classics when I was about eight or nine years old. A little girl who fell in love with a wild white stallion. It was a great family show . If you loved the movie My Friend Flicka, you would definitely love this movie. Why is it when a movie is made over 40 years ago, which was good clean family entertainment, we can't get it on DVD or even on VHS. Family Classics had so many great movies and this is one that was never reproduced. I would pay top dollar for this movie to come out. I would love my grandchildren to see this wonderful movie especially if you have the love of horses. Please track down this film and put it on DVD. I know that there are a lot of people my age who would love to see this film again. I know that I could watch it over and over again. Lets fight for this movie to hit our stores and online purchasing.
