Skinned Deep Trailers

The horror film Skinned Deep begins when a family suffers a flat tire on a barren stretch of road with only a diner dotting the landscape. They meet Granny, the seemingly nice old woman who runs the establishment, but they soon find that she is the leader of a deranged clan. The family is slain, with the exception of their teenage daughter, Tina whom one of the sons in the family, Brain (a boy with an externalized brain much larger than his head), takes a romantic interest in. Soon a group of bikers show up, forcing the girl to figure out which group of crazies she should throw in with in order to stay alive.

A brilliant film that helped define a genre

There is, somehow, an interesting story here, as well as some good acting. There are also some good scenes

what a terribly boring film. I'm sorry but this is absolutely not deserving of best picture and will be forgotten quickly. Entertaining and engaging cinema? No. Nothing performances with flat faces and mistaking silence for subtlety.

This is a dark and sometimes deeply uncomfortable drama

This is by far the best "so bads its good" film I've seen.Because; the lead villain is seriously cool, the others are brilliant as well, stuff explodes, stuff bleeds, Warwick Davis throws plates at people. It is possibly the most fun film I've ever seen and I really enjoyed drinking my beer and watching this trippy film. Not only does it show all the cool things I expect from these films, but it kept it up throughout the entire film. In my collection (mainly consisting of bad shark movies) the majority of the film is usually spent waiting for cool stuff to happen.I cant explain it... just watch it!!10 out of 10 (if I didn't have a beer 1 out of 10)

I still remember the General... Nice Jaw, nice overall look. That, and that it was stupid. Very stupid. Bad acting (not as bad as in movies like "Abscent of Light" or "Goth", but stupid), bad music, bad story, lots of gore and goofy characters.Seriously, the movie is meant to be comedic, or how else could you interpret a wrestling match between a senior citizen and a midget? A plate-throwing dwarf? The grannies and grandpas getting ready for war? The colorful comic - like look? This one never wanted to be taken serious, and as long as you don't, you might enjoy it. If you are indeed looking for a deeper sense or some kind of message, you're completely lost. Then again, if you dislike cheap splatter movies, why did you even rent it?

This movie was horrible, and there isn't much else I can say about it. The cover of this movie looks promising, as the menacing looking Surgeon Generals face appears on the front. But let me tell you people who haven't seen this movie yet, do not watch it, for even the horrifying face of the Surgeon General cannot save this movie. Its about a girl who's family gets killed, and one of the sons of the "creator" who we meet at the very end of the film, decides he wants to keep her as a pet, right after the brother is sliced in half. The acting in this movie was horrible, the main character Tina did not seem to have any emotion after seeing her parents killed. The death scenes are lame, especially those of the mutants, and the only character that was enjoyable in this movie was the Surgeon General. I would like to see the Surgeon General in another movie, one with a better director and a better storyline. As for the rest of the characters and the movie itself.... to hell with them all. This movie made really no sense whatsoever, and the acting is horrible. I think actor Warwick Davis made a horrible decision in playing in this movie, because from what I know, Warwick was the only actor in this film that had a notable filmography, appearing in the Leprachaun movies as the Leprachaun. The only reason you should ever want to see this movie is if you want to see an example of a horrible storyline. I could go on forever about how horrible this movie was, but if you don't trust my judgment, go rent it yourself. Guaranteed you would've thanked me if you listened.

Skinned Deep is a amateur, home-made movie. Fangoria supported this movie and probably fronted the marketing and advertising costs, but this is no different than an undergrad trying to make a movie. Do not be fooled by the Fangoria label. Its a trick and I fell for it.My biggest gripe with this movie is the director. He was lazy and disorganized from beginning to end. I could not get over the fact that the audio was off and very low. The sound guy should get a new hobby. The editing was just the worst. I hadn't seen anything like this. To think that this movie made it to the shelves of Blockbuster can only give hope and provide inspiration to any dreamer looking to make films, if only for a weekend.Plot: Demented family wearing obvious prosthetics goes on killing spree. Midget with white face paint throwing plates. PLATES!!! No rhyme or reason behind anything. If there was, I couldn't hear it because the sound was so low.I cannot appreciate, respect, or give the light of day to such pathetically thoughtless, lazy drivel of a script and story. I was expecting bad, but not this.Save your money, because even if you like bad movies, you won't like this one.
