Absolutely the worst movie.

Very interesting film. Was caught on the premise when seeing the trailer but unsure as to what the outcome would be for the showing. As it turns out, it was a very good film.

At first rather annoying in its heavy emphasis on reenactments, this movie ultimately proves fascinating, simply because the complicated, highly dramatic tale it tells still almost defies belief.

There was a time that flicks were popular if they had swords in them, remember Conan (1982), Red Sonja (1985), but they were the popular ones. Of course back then you still had those grindhouse theatres all over town and there you could catch flicks like She.The first minutes you could easily see how ultra low budget this flick was. You don't watch it for the acting performances or effects used, you watched it for stupid stories and conversations. Of course some became a bit of cult like She. This is due Sandahl Bergman being in it as She who had a rather good career after this flick and of course Gordon Mitchell notorious for this kind of flicks. You will have a big laugh if you see how serious it was made but to see the man with green eyes and the effects used it's all outdated. Or the Russian symbols used and the swastikas. Nobody had any trouble with it back then. There's a bit of red stuff here and there but all done on stupid base. A perfect example of a genre just like flicks taking place in concentration camps which never came back because both were so wrong on ethics. Luckily for the geeks it's out on DVD, just see the cover and you immediately knows what you will get, nothing at all, but great fun to see it nowadays, but only for lovers of that particular genre. Gore 0/5 Nudity 0,5/5 Effects 0/5 Story 1,5/5 Comedy 0/5

I'm on the "it's so bad it's almost good" side. I caught part of it late at night years ago and it stuck with me. Parts are simply so weird they're wonderful. I remember some large guy on a white horse wearing a pink tutu. Did that really happen? And the werewolf dance. Fantastic. I also remember that at some point it gave up the ghost and was crappy after that. No matter. One good line can justify ones whole existence: "Your friend seems slightly overenthusiastic." "My friend's an asshole." This is for the person who claimed that "She" was worse than Plan 9 from Outer Space: Plan 9 was the most wretched thing I have ever watched. At one point I had to leave the room. It was during the "if this ping pong ball were the sun and that can of gasoline...." speech. Like Alex in "A Clockwork Orange" I may never recover. "She", on the other hand, has moments of inspired madness.

Mix together sword-and-sorcery and post-apocalyptic elements, add a dose of political allegory (note the Communist and Nazi symbols), a contemporary music score and some surreal moments that seem to have come straight out of Monty Python (a bridge guard who multiplies every time you chop off one of his limbs) and you have this bizarre film that is neither a straight adventure nor exactly a spoof. It suffers from an overly episodic structure, but it benefits from Sandahl Bergman and Quin Kessler as the two muscular, beautiful Amazon warriors who are as proficient with a sword as with any other weapon. Both actresses are perfectly cast and do their roles justice, capturing the right "always-ready-for-a-fight" mentality. How anyone can give this film a "1" when there are, at the very least, these two amazing women to look at is beyond me! (**)

Okay, now here we have some kind of woman that is suppose to be a god (?) and she's suppose to kill all the eeeevil Norks or something like that. They tried to mix Mad max and Conan and OH MY GOD this is bad. If you want a big laugh or if you are into S&M, this might be a good movie for you...
