Great example of an old-fashioned, pure-at-heart escapist event movie that doesn't pretend to be anything that it's not and has boat loads of fun being its own ludicrous self.

I think this is a new genre that they're all sort of working their way through it and haven't got all the kinks worked out yet but it's a genre that works for me.

Watched this after I was lead to believe it was a horror movie but it wasn't really, it was a psychology drama.A woman who is an aqua-phobic goes to see a psychiatrist when she doesn't really need to. If she has a fear of water then she must be cat-woman.The therapist whom she seek is some creepy Eastern European guy who turns out to be anything but professional, for example saying to her he can tell she doesn't wear panties under her skirt at business meetings but it only gets worse. He takes her to an island in the middle of a lake to face her fears where she is bound and locked inside a wooden coffin for hours. The plot is sound but I thought the woman's decisions were very stupid and I doubt some businesswoman would be stupid enough to make some of the decisions she did.In the end she has to face her greatest fear, water, and swim to safety, proving that fear is also the best motivation to overcome a fear.
