Best movie of this year hands down!

An action-packed slog

The tone of this movie is interesting -- the stakes are both dramatic and high, but it's balanced with a lot of fun, tongue and cheek dialogue.

Excellent! All the main female leads go topless throughout the movie! The best one being at the end. (Purity's boobs). These ones go topless: Purity, Bootsie, Rhonda and others. Best movie with nudity ever! Also, the girls are hot, sexy, and topless in this movie time and time again! Most guys will enjoy this movie because it has girls, perverted guys, topless girls, and some sex scenes. The only thing that could make this movie better is if the has famous female actresses in the movie, like Phobie Cates. I'm rating this a 10 because of how badly it did on IMDb. Also, there is a sequel in which there is more nudity (hopefully). I love this 80's movie!

Screwballs (1983) ** (out of 4) Canadian rip-off of PORKY'S features five high school guys getting sent to detention for various things done against or to the high school queen/virgin Purity Busch. While in detention the five men agree to work together to try and see Mrs. Busch topless. SCREWBALLS comes from writers Jim Wynorski and Linda Shayne and it's clear that they watched all the teen-sex comedies that had been released before this and it's also clear that they're paying homage to countless "B" movies from the drive-in era. I'm not going to lie and call this a masterpiece because it's far from it. The characters are all rather bland. The screenplay runs out of gas very early on. The direction is questionable and there's just no question that this here isn't all that well-made. With that said, if you're a fan of these types of movies then there's enough nudity and silliness to make it worth sitting through at least once. I think the best thing about the movie are a few nods to previous films including a funny drive-in sequence where the kids are watching a naughty movie (THE ARENA for those interested). Another funny sequence involves one of the boys getting sexually attacked by Purity's mother and here's a very funny nod to the scene in THE HOWLING dealing with the werewolf sex/transformation. Again, none of the performances are all that memorable but at least the main five are slightly interesting enough to keep you entertained. As far as nudity goes, this one here features plenty of topless ladies, which of course was needed since this film's target audience was young men. SCREWBALLS is a pretty stupid little film that fans of the 80s teen comedies will want to check out. All others should stay clear.

After I finished watching this, I checked the description, and saw that it was described as being the "granddaddy of teen sex movies." It seems hard to describe it that way when it was released in 1983. There's a very minimal amount of plot to the movie. In fact, it seems strange for a movie that is so laser-focused on having a series of sex gags back to back. If I were back in 7th or 8th grade, I would absolutely love this movie. I would have found it hilarious, and probably pretty erotic. But as an adult, I didn't find it terribly funny. In fact, this is one of the strangest movies I've seen. Usually, in a teen sex movie, there's a serious plot of some sort. There will be a romance, there will be some sort of lesson learned. There will be someone struggling to pass a class... This one doesn't. This one is so singularly focused on just providing one titillating moment after another. There's only a single character who isn't fully sex-obsessed, and that's a teacher that has been bound in a wheelchair. Most of the other teachers are portrayed as being anti-sex, although later, they are shown to be just as obsessed as the core cast is. There are a few things that are memorable, but ultimately, the movie is an example of what happens when you pull all of the heart out of a movie. It narrows the audience that will enjoy it.

This movie has some funny moments and some cool characters. but this movie is to much like Porky's and is not on the ball that much. This is just capitalizing on the teen sex craze of the 80's and watching it in the 90's is a little hard to stomach!
