The film's masterful storytelling did its job. The message was clear. No need to overdo.

I was hoping, against hope, that this movie might actually be a little entertaining. But boy oh boy was I wrong. This movie is not candid camera, it is acting camera, all of the people are scripted (it is so obvious too).Back in 1989 Leon produced some real, unscripted candid camera movies. This is not that, this is absolutely 100% fake. The other thing is that even with his Asian, or black or Chinese, or whatever disguise he chooses to wear, and believe me they are all essentially the same over the years, you can clearly see and hear Leon Schuster. Some might even recognize the actors throughout, they are SA d class actors that you would have seen before. In short, this movie is one of the biggest turkey's out there, ever. If I could give it zero stars I would, don't waste your time.

Yep, Leon Schuster is back at his candid best and this time he tries to take down the local film industry. A truly dismal film with a dumb premise, just like all Schuster films. In some scenes you can truly see that everyone was in on the prank, some people just wouldn't act like this in real life situations (would you physically assault a police officer without thinking of the consequences?). There's also some Terrible editing and continuity problems in almost every scene. By the end you'll be able to hear the overdubbed voices of people in "real situations" Then there's the obligatory Schuster soundtrack with terrible lyrics and composition throughout the film. Why films like this get the greenlight in the South African film industry goes completely beyond me? Luckily I didn't spend on a ticket to watch this turkey!

With the exception of the Coffin Scene - this is probably the worst Schuster Movie I have seen. He stole most of the Pranks from other Shows - the thing that irritated the living heck out of me was that in many of his pranks, the people are in on the prank - they are actually pretending to get Pranked. Reading reviews from other Critics and Viewers, I find it astounding that none of them have picked up on this. Many of the Pranks are extremely lame and fall flat very fast. I get the impression that Schuster is sucking junk out of his thumb for the sake of being an Icon and making an Income. My advice to Leon Schuster is to retire asap. The general feeling amongst Viewers is that his movies have slowly deteriorated over that fast few Years. Very very disappointing indeed.

Leon is back in fine form doing what he does best- candid camera! This thrill-a-minute flick is a throwback to Schuster's earlier work and it is superb. There's plenty of new pranks to keep even the most discerning fan entertained. Great comedy all round and a definite must-see for all fans of the genre. It's great to see Alfred Ntombela back with Leon in this comedy caper. The jokes are fresh and the humour is incisive. Leon may well have aged a little but his sense of humour is as sharp as ever. This flick may not be one of his big budget showpieces like Mr Bones or Panic Mechanic, but it's certainly a topnotch addition to his entertaining films.
