I enjoyed watching this film and would recommend other to give it a try , (as I am) but this movie, although enjoyable to watch due to the better than average acting fails to add anything new to its storyline that is all too familiar to these types of movies.

There are moments in this movie where the great movie it could've been peek out... They're fleeting, here, but they're worth savoring, and they happen often enough to make it worth your while.

"Schulmädchen-Report 12. Teil - Wenn das die Mammi wüßte" is a West German German-language film from 1978, so this one will have its 40th anniversary next year. The director is Walter Boos and he was among the defining filmmakers when it came to 1970's German sex films. Or lets say sex-themed films as going by this one here it is very much soft-core. And the title tells you that this is already the 12th entry to the German Schulmädchen series. This is a quantity of sequels that hardly any franchise manages. Bond perhaps if that counts. I will spare you all the alternate titles for this 80-minute film we have here. Like the others, it is once again based on a book by Günther Hunold and yeah at that point, the franchise was really nothing anymore other than cheap cashing in as the series, at least early on, was a huge commercial success in Germany. It does not need any famous actresses or actors as really the sexual component is enough to get people to see it. This one is maybe the least seen from the franchise though, at least the least rated here on IMDb. Like the others, it's once again a collection of short stories told to us and each other by a group of German youngsters. The subjects here include forbidden attraction between siblings, sex in the hay, a fake doctor examining a young woman and some German chicks experiencing romance with foreigners. Well, there is a bit of a dramatic component at times, but it's really not executed well at all and this refers to the death of a character in the first segment or also a suicide in one of the final parts. The last words (voice-over) here may sound right, but I wonder to which extent this film really makes a statement pro school girls. Honestly the writing, narrating and most of the acting here is pretty bad and in terms of the sexual components this one, with the exception of the first segment perhaps, is also not fulfilling at all and I guess you need to be extremely horny to enjoy the film. I suggest you skip it altogether. It's 99% trash really.
