It’s fine. It's literally the definition of a fine movie. You’ve seen it before, you know every beat and outcome before the characters even do. Only question is how much escapism you’re looking for.

The action takes place in India where the Maharanee is in big trouble:her husband died and nobody knows where his last wills are hidden;perhaps in a cardboard temple ? An international cast cannot save an abysmal screenplay which blends archaeology, a Tarzanesque hero (Lex Barker) and two raiders who want to double-cross the wicked Maharanee .French Maurice Ronet knew better days with Louis Malle ("Le Feu Follet" "Ascenseur Pour L'Echafaud" ) and René Clément ("Plein Soleil") .Lex Barker has got a pet ,a chimpanzee that provides the movie with its would be comic relief. The good ones are rewarded, the villains are punished .Hare Krishna!
