I really wanted to like this movie. I feel terribly cynical trashing it, and that's why I'm giving it a middling 5. Actually, I'm giving it a 5 because there were some superb performances.

This is a coming of age storyline that you've seen in one form or another for decades. It takes a truly unique voice to make yet another one worth watching.

It's a good bad... and worth a popcorn matinée. While it's easy to lament what could have been...

There's a more than satisfactory amount of boom-boom in the movie's trim running time.

This movie is a great cure for insomnia. I watched this movie first time on my flight - India To States. This movie made this otherwise painful 20 hour flight extremely comfortable. Since this was my first time, I passed out in a "state of shock", I couldn't handle the awesomeness of this movie. If ever I'm sleepless, I watch this movie and get comfortably numb. The movie portrays the comic timing of Divya Khosala Kumar, each time I watch any scene from this movie, I just feel what the **** was she thinking, when she made this movie. I also pity her husband, who has to throw away money on making these movies.Over all this is a great movie, I have given 1 star here to IMDB, as this site is not worthy of the awesomeness of "Sanam Re"

I had much expectations about this movie when I saw its trailer. I thought it would be nice story. But when I saw this movie found it very bad.Worst story. The story is totally cracked it has no meaning.Awful direction. The climax is bad.The last suspense was bad.The acting was bad.Only cinematography was OK and beautiful and nice songs. But bad movie. Those who have watched this movie in theatre they were thinking that why we waste our time and money on this movie. My advice Avoid this movie.Sanam Teri kasam is better than this.A totally bad movie for your Valentine's day.Watch this movie Only if you want to spoil your Valentine's day.

this film certainly is on the shoulders of actor Pulkit Samrat. He plays the role of Aakash and has the maximum screen time compared to other artists and he proves his capabilities as a performer by pulling out some intense scenes with ease. Sometimes he has gone overboard while performing but it doesn't affect his performance. Yami Gautam who plays Shruti is sheer disappointment, the plot doesn't give her the scope to perform more which leads to a sadness for all her fans. Urvashi Rautela looks good and her performance is effective and nice in the role of Akanksha. Rishi Kapoor shines very well in his 'extended' cameo part, he proves when it comes to experiment no one can overshadow this veteran who plays the grandfather to Pulkit Samrat.Special mention to the child artists Neil Tyagi and Delisa Mehra making a place in our hearts with their brilliant performances as the younger versions of Pulkit Samrat and Yami Gautam respectively.
