When on a whim I thought I'd look up the trivia for this movie on IMDb and I saw that it had a standing rating of a measly 6 stars my heart sunk. This movie was incredible! It was filled with perhaps the most memorable one-liners, the funniest "villians", and the most unbelievable break downs imaginable. Not to mention one of the hunkiest pieces of man meat I have ever had the pleasure of watching for an hour and some odd minutes jump through cinema hoops. This movie had me laughing, crying, and kept me guessing through the entire thing. Sit down with your significant other, your sister, your brother, your mother, your father, your best friend, your puppy, kitty, or stuffed animal named Paul, I don't know...just WATCH IT.

I really enjoyed this movie. The cast is wonderful and seem to work well together. Laura and Matt definitely have great on screen chemistry. I love it when Mellissa attacks the cop and takes off only to end up in crocodile infested waters. Carrie had me laughing throughout the whole movie! (I originally watched this because she was in it, now I'd watch it again for the movie itself.) My favorite line from this movie is when Edwina(Fisher)says: "Are you trying to tell me you got loaded and laid the day before your wedding, who do you think you are, Me?" I also love how Edwina stops Bryan from telling his parents the wedding is off. I have to give Mellissa's sister some credit for threatening to make it her mission in life to marry a Mexican man if her mother didn't let Carlos go. If you like light romantic comedies, then this is the perfect movie for you.

Just saw "Romancing the Bride" and was wondering what resort in Acupulco the wedding scene was filmed at. I have gone to Mexico a few times. I recognized some of the different locations in Acupulco. The wedding scene was filmed at a resort. It looked beautiful. It overlooked the ocean. I was wondering where this resort may have been. Also if this resort is open to the public or if it was a time share. There appeared to be a pool with a pedestal where the wedding vows were being said. I looked everywhere in the credits to see if the resort was identified. Does anyone know this resort? Also, in the movie, the town San Marcos was a place where Carlos lived. Does this town really exist near Acupulco? It looked nice. Maybe a place i would visit if I return to Mexico.

I like a movie that is funny, romantic and provides a pleasant break from reality! This movie fits the bill. There is very good chemistry between the two main characters, and it's a pleasure to watch them with each other. I found myself smiling a lot.It took me awhile to figure out who the female lead was.. (Okay, I never could figure it out.. I had to come to this site to look her name up and see what other things she was in... well, to my surprise.. she was on "That 70's Show"!)This movie, to be sure, was light and fluffy, no big complications that stress you out.. I just had a good time! I would watch it again!
