It’s fine. It's literally the definition of a fine movie. You’ve seen it before, you know every beat and outcome before the characters even do. Only question is how much escapism you’re looking for.

I just finished watching this, and it was much better than I thought it would be. From the summary, it seemed as if it was like Camp Dread, which was fun to watch, but not good. First of all this is not a slasher film, torture porn, or anything of the kind. It's a story about a group of kids with various social problems whose parents have them abducted and brought to a boot camp where they can get an attitude readjustment. The main character Andrea is able to see the past and future of people when they touch her. She's also able to see ghosts. One girl died at the camp, and she seems to be haunting Andrea, but it's not a typical haunting to scare her. She wants Andrea to know the truth of what happened to her, as well as who was involved. It's a low-budget Australian indie, but I thought it was well done for what it was. I'm an indie fan, and I'd recommend it. I like when indies are well done, as this one is. It's not a blockbuster storyline, but as far as I can tell, it's kind of original, which is why indies appeal to me. I'd rate the acting all around as being fair to pretty good. The movie clocks in at about 90 minutes, but I didn't feel like turning it off at all. The storyline was moving. Some of the characters, especially the boys, were annoying, but that's to be expected from kids of the age range they were portraying. There were no cheesy special effects. In fact, I can't think of any special effects it had, which is good because it didn't need them.BTW, I had NOTHING to do with this or any other movie. I understand some viewers (such as myself) get irritated as all hell reading a good review, and then you watch a movie based on said review only to find the movie stinks big time. I don't blame you. It irritates me when film makers put up bogus reviews, like they did for The Cemetery. Again, I am NOT associated with this or any other movie. I just happened to enjoy it. Some will, some won't. However, I think I gave an honest appraisal of the movie.
