good back-story, and good acting

The plot isn't so bad, but the pace of storytelling is too slow which makes people bored. Certain moments are so obvious and unnecessary for the main plot. I would've fast-forwarded those moments if it was an online streaming. The ending looks like implying a sequel, not sure if this movie will get one

There is, somehow, an interesting story here, as well as some good acting. There are also some good scenes

That's seriously one of the titles this was released under in Germany. Sounds familiar you say? I wonder why they chose that. But obvious riffing off big budget movies aside, this is a Corman production. If that doesn't tell you anything, let's just say I hope you like playing with puppets and spraying ketchup around. So don't expect big budget effects or any major CGI work (if any at all that is). But do expect one of the main characters to undress. Actually apart from her being topless, she also has a sex scene. Now why do I point this out? I did not stop the time, but while that scene seemed forever it actually was about 10 minutes long. And they didn't even switch positions. Still hats off when it comes to stamina (no pun intended). I was also wondering what the Dino was doing that whole time? I mean was he watching? Not that some would blame him for that ... Still awkwardness because of length aside (minute wise that is, so hold your horses), this movie does not have strong acting in it. Who could've guessed it you say? Everybody is the obvious answer. So while it starts off with a bang (that's Dino killing off folks not that 10 minute scene) and I do have a soft spot (easy tiger) for puppetry, this still misses out on being outrageously funny. Like over the top and completely bad ...

Slightly above awful for two reasons. First, the frantic conclusion that looks like it was put through a blender. The dinosaurs change shape and size at will. People who appear to have come from a different film entirely (oh wait they did come from a different film entirely) appear and disappear. Extra points for the female scientist who manages to change from a dress to a pants suit while being devoured by a T Rex. I'm still trying to digest everything that just happened, and almost forgot the second reason this is the "cream of the crap". That would be that I have the shortened 81 minute DVD, thus mercifully avoiding the 7 minute gratuitous "looped" sex scene of the extended version. - MERK

The biggest and most disconcerting things of the Raptor movie was ending for the Tyransaurus is identical to Carnosaur except kid in the loader was a bit better acted and action then the adult. The similarities to the Carnosaur movies was rather poor choice in plot line. The only thing that approached good was the beginning with the kids in the jeep. Then the plot went down hill from there. Would have been nice if a different plot had been devised, rather then cloning the earlier movies. The raptor movie should have taken lesson from Jurasic park series in various plots. The only movie that has come close to a good dinosaur movie most recently is Aztec Rex. The repeated scenes as if taken from the Carnosaur movies leaves a person thinking of those movies.

This movie doesn't even deserve a 1/10 This movie was a scam.I swear that at least 30 minutes of the film were DELIBERETLY copied from Carnosaur 1, 2, & 3.The whole movie "Raptor" was based of the movie and that was really a pathetic attempt to be a "Thriller, Action Packed, Dinosaur" copy. I loved that movie series and seeing it be put on a movie that cant even afford or willing COPY it without doing there own models is what America is coming to.I recommend you see the Carnosaur movie FIRST (all of them) and then watch this, and you will know what I mean.Spencer
