One of the best films i have seen
... View MoreMost undeservingly overhyped movie of all time??
... View MoreI wanted to like it more than I actually did... But much of the humor totally escaped me and I walked out only mildly impressed.
... View MoreAt first rather annoying in its heavy emphasis on reenactments, this movie ultimately proves fascinating, simply because the complicated, highly dramatic tale it tells still almost defies belief.
... View MoreFilmmaker Linda was raped when she was 15 years old, back in 1997. Now, 18 years later, she has decided to make a documentary about rape, based upon her own thoughts about what happened to her. She never went to the police, and has never been able to get rid of what she thinks is her own guilt in the rape. She is the main character and interviewer in the film, going through what her rape was, rape victims, rapists, police, psychologists and therapists dealing with her post traumatic stress disorder, which made her for some time ended up in a wheel chair. A strong film with a biased reporter, dealing with all her feelings while carrying her own history and when she decides to report her rape, 18 years later. She soon gets to know that the case is considered closed. Then she gets a contra message. It's a strangely biased film, still it's very interesting and fresh film making, following her ups and downs through the process. Strong film making.
