The greatest movie ever made..!

n my opinion it was a great movie with some interesting elements, even though having some plot holes and the ending probably was just too messy and crammed together, but still fun to watch and not your casual movie that is similar to all other ones.

This is one of the few movies I've ever seen where the whole audience broke into spontaneous, loud applause a third of the way in.

If you're interested in the topic at hand, you should just watch it and judge yourself because the reviews have gone very biased by people that didn't even watch it and just hate (or love) the creator. I liked it, it was well written, narrated, and directed and it was about a topic that interests me.

...and finally failing.Slanderous mail ("le corbeau" ) and a lousy school with a dirty headmaster ("les diaboliques" ) will fatally make the viewer think of French master HG Clouzot.Granier-Deferre tried to "update" our film noir genius's work : the heroine is completely naked half of the time,there's an open ending,he uses Marianne Faithful's superb "ballad of Lucy Jordan" -although the connection with the movie escapes me - and he hints at lesbianism (which Clouzot had already done in "Quai des orfèvres" ) .The only asset of the movie is Elisabeth Bourgine's presence ,an ambiguous woman with a child's face .Pierre Granier-Deferre has seen better days: "le chat" ,"une étrange affaire".
