The story of Mark a tech savvy college student who creates a cutting edge spyware app that allows him to remote view any cell phone in New York City. He begins to invade the privacy of hundreds of New Yorkers remotely via the 'Privacy App' he has just developed, but then spots a beautiful and mysterious girl, named Alexis whom he begins to spy on. She appears to be looking for someone, while at the same time is being sought after by a shadowy figure. Mark is drawn into her world and has his best friend Toby contact her when she is in need of an apartment. Alexis moves into Mark's building where Mark and her meet and fall in love. But their romance is quickly dispersed, when Alexis' dark past catches up with her, entangling Mark in a web of murder, political intrigue and privacy invasion.

Too much about the plot just didn't add up, the writing was bad, some of the scenes were cringey and awkward,

Like the great film, it's made with a great deal of visible affection both in front of and behind the camera.

I saw this film at a screening in Amsterdam and thought it was very timely. For anyone paranoid about "Big Brother watching you" this film is not for you. In this day and age where everyone just gives up their privacy via social media, this movie makes you think twice about how you use your technology.

The movie was enjoyable and entertaining. This is a story of a app developer that creates an app to spy on anyone's phone. He randomly chooses a girl in trouble and the movie follows him trying to help her. I would question parts of the story that may not hold together. for example, why would someone having the intention to blackmail only keep printed photographs and not have a digital copy. why would someone have a digital photograph and not save it on the cloud etc... However if you don't question that and take the movie at a face value, it is fast paced, action packed and entertaining.

This is one of the best movies I have seen in a long time. Of course, it does not have a Hollywood budget, but the movies is better than most that come from there anyway. The movie starts quickly and after 90 minutes, I was amazed that I had not checked my watch. Good dialog, good action, love story, friendship, NYC: all included for your pleasure. This is a story of a app developer (genius) that creates an app to spy on anyone's phone. What is scary as this could be happening now and you would not know it. He randomly chooses a girl in trouble and the movie follows him trying to help her. Not to spoil the ending, but it has a few twists. Do yourself a favor and go and see this movie. Take a woman as they love it.Interman
