The pointy-nosed little man is planting yellow posies in his garden, until the Pink Panther shows up and has his own gardening plans, replacing all his flowers with pink ones. It's a hilarious flower exchange, with the little man oblivious as to why his yellow flowers keep changing into pink ones. No matter how many times the man replaces or destroys the pink flowers, new ones come back. That panther is one slick cat, and definitely gave the little man a run for his money. Very funny cartoon and definitely one of the panther's best!Grade A

On the most part The Pink Panther cartoons have held up really well, and Pink Posies is in the better end of the spectrum. The story isn't the most original, it is a concept that is fairly similar to what we've seen before with Pinky, but you don't mind really when the cartoon overall is as entertaining as it is. The animation is kept simply, but still carefully drawn and elegantly coloured. The music is similarly great, the accompanying music is very jazzy and upbeat, adding a lot to the gags and story. And the theme song is still catchy and hasn't aged or annoyed a jot. The gags revolve around one joke/plot device(exchanging posies from one colour to the next), but this is hardly a problem, quite the contrary, especially when they are this funny and so cleverly timed. Pinky is very easy to love here and always, he is fun and cool(always was part of his appeal), and has a scenario that serves his talents well. The pointy-nosed man is a very convincing foil and you kind of feel for him.All in all, entertaining, clever and well drawn, maybe not original but another Pinky delight. 9/10 Bethany Cox

Here we go again with the Pink Panther tormenting the Little White Man. The latter is in his yard, planting yellow posies. The nervy Panther is right behind him, immediately replacing the flowers with pink ones, because he would prefer that.....even though it's none of his business! The poor gardener doesn't see the PP, only that his flowers seem to have magically changed colors seconds after he plants them! He scratches his dead in disbelief. That's the gag of this animated short - the exchanging of yellow flowers to pink, back to yellow, back to pink, etc., and how these transformations take place. The whole time the White Man can't figure out how his flowers keep changing to pink, until the very end. Most of the time, the poor little guy thinks there is something wrong with his eyes, since he keeps seeing pink.As another reviewer pointed out, this is similar in theme to the first-ever Pink Panther cartoon in which he paints pink over everything the other guys does. No matter, even if this isn't original it was fun to watch and amazing how many variations come up with a simple theme.

Some gardener is filling his land with rows upon rows of yellow flowers, but The Pink Panther, who is hanging around nearby prefers his own color and replaces them without the gardener knowing. This freaks him out and causes him to doubt his own vision. One by one he replaces all the pink flowers with yellow flowers, unaware that Pinky is right behind him replacing yellow flowers with pink flowers. It's almost identical to the Oscar-winning 'The Pink Phink' from 1964 but it's so damn funny that I don't care. The gags are thick and fast and all the while Pinky maintains his trademark cool and doesn't miss the opportunity to get the last laugh in the amusing twist at the end.
