Nationally acclaimed evangelist John Luther is the last obstacle in the way of sweeping religious reform in the States. When a U.S. Senator and Luther's own supporters abduct and frame him in the murder of an innocent teenage girl, an unprecedented era of persecution is unleashed. Out on personal recognizance, Luther escapes police surveillance in search of the truth. And suddenly, a once-normal life is targeted by a team of ex-military operatives who wage a relentless campaign to eliminate the incriminating evidence. As evangelist turned fugitive, Luther vows to expose anyone involved with or profiting from the girl's murder; a mission that brings him face-to-face with the coming storm of persecution that will threaten the entire Christian community in America.

This is a small, humorous movie in some ways, but it has a huge heart. What a nice experience.

A movie where the big bad government tries to promote religious tolerance and the loving Christians are forced to put up with it.Can you say delusional? The so-called Christians who make films like this insist on being attacked by the big bad government even though they got their so- called savior Trump in the White House. They insist on refusing change and yet wonder why more liberal Christians or others dislike them. Why they can't make films where the Christians are more like Dietrich Bonhoeffer, Martin Niemoller or Martin Luther King Jr is a mystery to me.

There was nothing about this movie that was disappointing in my opinion. The only thing that is disappointing is the number of stars that this movie has by most of the viewers. I don't even think that this movie was in the theaters and now I know why. It speaks the truth! Nowadays it seems that any type of religious movie will never hit the theatres, because "they" don't want anyone to know the truth. The main character and all of the other actors & actresses of this movie did an excellent job and the plot was awesome! If you didn't get what this movie was TRULY telling you, then you will truly be the one lost in the end. Read your bible people; it's all right there. And make sure that you are prepared for His coming.

I thought the movie was well made. I thought the acting was great except for the little girl in the movie. She was looking at the camera in her scene. Other than that the acting was good. I thought the plot was interesting and a refreshing twist from the usual Faith based movie genre. Personally, however, I thought the movie was highly lacking in any real inspiration. I was put out that the priest is shown lighting up a large cigar and that drinking is portrayed as a normal Christian activity for ministers of the Word. That said, I can very well understand someone who stands up for the Word of God being a target of attack by those who would like to see the "order" of things on the religious scene to change. All in all I give the movie a 5 out of 10... equal on pros and cons in my opinion. I didn't hate the movie. I didn't love the movie. Would I recommend the movie? Not really.

Obviously this was a piece of fiction with all of the 'big brother' aspects of the show. It uses government cover-ups which may seem a stretch at times, but then again with today's politics gets closer to reality then I think we would like to believe. However it did expose a side that is largely ignored by the media and maybe society in general. The movie exposes that it seems that people of all religious faiths are accepted unless it is the Christian faith, which seems to the politically correct faith to go against these days. I felt that what was portrayed in the movie was actually quite realistic and possible. I only would have liked to have seen the theme carried a bit further, but then again maybe real life doesn't always have happy endings? I look forward to a equal. I realize that there is a bit of a moral, and possibly pro-Christian message and I can't help but wonder if that is the reason for some of the negative reviews? (that itself would fall into the same premise exposed in the film!) I tried to be objective in my viewing of it and would say the theme was great as well as the acting. It just didn't carry it far enough and left me feeling like there should be more time spent telling more of the story - this the need for a sequel.
