Paul McCartney Really Is Dead: The Last Testament of George Harrison Trailers

In the summer of 2005, a package arrived at the Hollywood offices of Highway 61 Entertainment from London with no return address. Inside were two mini-cassette audio tapes dated December 30, 1999 and labeled "The Last Testament of George Harrison". A voice eerily similar to Harrison's tells a shocking story: Paul McCartney was killed in a car crash in November of 1966 and replaced with a double!

This is a must-see and one of the best documentaries - and films - of this year.

It's funny, it's tense, it features two great performances from two actors and the director expertly creates a web of odd tension where you actually don't know what is happening for the majority of the run time.

I think this is a new genre that they're all sort of working their way through it and haven't got all the kinks worked out yet but it's a genre that works for me.

This movie was a waste of my time, and I'm thankful I watched it on Netflix and didn't waste my money to rent it. First that they are tying to tell me it was George Harrison's voice narrating the entire movie is laughable. That is not a voice of someone who smoked for majority of their life. The notion that they are trying to wrap my head around the fact that they were able to get someone else to go through plastic surgery and play a huge game on EVERYONE for 35+ years is just disgusting. I am shocked that no one was sued for this movie coming out. I cannot believe that this was actually put out for the public to see. I can believe that someone was willing to get the procedures done to look like Paul McCartney, but amount of speech therapy can make someone have his voice when he sings, no one can force them to have the talent that Paul McCartney has. This is a horrible movie, a waste of time and just disgusting that someone would actually carry on with a rumor that started in 1969. No solid evidence except for 'pictures' .. has ANYONE taken into consideration what drug abuse will do to someones body? And stress, age and smoking?? No one in production of this awful project. Save your time and watch something else.

I'm not a believer of the Paul Is Dead Urban Legend but it is still very fun to be a part of since I see it as a game that has been played since '69. When this "Documentary" was making news on the internet and YouTube, the DVD was a must buy for me, if only I knew the horror that I was going to face. To begin the voice in the Documentary is -CLEARLY NOT- George Harrison but a Canadian trying to get his story across, maybe the Director himself. 2nd there is so many plot holes in the film and complete lies that it's surprising the film itself is trying to make itself look serious. Some examples are; Paul's death led to The Beatles teaming up with MI5 or they will die? Paul's mum attended Paul's Funeral? (When in fact she died when he was a teenager). Rita is really Heather Mills. And the biggest insult is when the voice claiming to be George says in one point that Ringo didn't have any talent or personalty, now George would never say such even if he was on his deathbed.Another insult is that "George" is saying that The Beatles songs after Paul's death had no intention or meaning other than just being sounds for putting clues on and "George" claims that John pretended to be involved in peace and was a freedom fighter. The only good thing about this Mockumentry is the music used in the movie. The right music for the wrong movie. This Mockumentry is still a buy though, it is a "so bad its good" film. Being so bad you can only laugh at it.In closing if you a believer of this version of the Paul Is Dead Urban Legend go onto YouTube and you'll find the real version of the story. If you are still a player of the game, do not use this to help you not even to cheat.Joel Gilbert... you should be ashamed of yourself making money of this terrible version of one of the greatest urban legends ever and who ever was pretending to be George, be a real Beatles fan and get your facts right. The Mockumentry gets a 2/10.

...you go in with the correct mindset. As a Beatles fan who was born in the mid 70's I didn't experience the true Beatle Mania like most did. i also didn't experience the "Paul is dead" craze. I have also never really had an opinion on whether he is dead or not. I think that attitude helped this movie be more entertaining to me.It was interesting to go through the various tidbits of information and play along with the storyline. However, it does remind me a bit of my college papers when I would have a certain agenda and then set out to find the fact-ish elements I needed to add a sense of validity.Like I stated before, if you don't have a bias on whether Paul is dead or not you will find the movie interesting, maybe even eerie at points.

We were having a really bad day and decided to see this on Netflix streaming because it looked interesting. It definitely delivered in being the bar none most obviously fabricated thing ever.I can take with a grain of salt George supposedly narrating an hour and a half worth of "evidence" in a stunningly quiet hospital room, and even asking his wife for the taping equipment. But...it's so specific that there's no way. Add to that: Capital, not the Beatles, selected the song listing for Yesterday and Today, which was a very sore spot for the Beatles.Yellow Submarine was recorded for Revolver, not Yellow Submarine, which additionally was a soundtrack, not an album. Far moreso than, say, Hard Day's Night or Help since the Beatles only contributed one album side to it.Hello Goodbye and Strawberry Fields Forever were not on the original Magical Mystery Tour release, but were added later because the original double EP format was unable to be released stateside (they previously existed as singles).Let It Be was in the can before Abbey Road was recorded. And so on and so forth. It kills me that the people putting this together were so sloppy yet packaged it as some kind of definitive proof. I laughed for hours after it was over. And the William to Paul transformation video was spectacularly hilarious, even as over-saturated as it was.
