Instead, you get a movie that's enjoyable enough, but leaves you feeling like it could have been much, much more.

After playing with our expectations, this turns out to be a very different sort of film.

Great example of an old-fashioned, pure-at-heart escapist event movie that doesn't pretend to be anything that it's not and has boat loads of fun being its own ludicrous self.

The storyline feels a little thin and moth-eaten in parts but this sequel is plenty of fun.

This is a delightful move and very British. It has a good cast and the lead actress is so pretty. I had to suspend disbelief as no one esp not even the drip who drops her at the start would ever leave this woman. She is a stone cold babe. So she is cast adrift with no friends and gets the gorgeous headstrong Patrick. Like all dogs he is a pain at the start but worms his way into her heart. The movie itself tries to be a romantic comedy and works quite well until the final denouement which I felt was a bit forced. The real starts of the show are the gorgeous and talented couple. Yeah, I am talking about the dog and the lady.Well worth a watch.

I went with my Grandson to see this film and wasn't sure what to expect as the reviews were not brilliant. We were very pleasantly surprised to find that the film was actually brilliant. Lots of funny and moving scenes which left us with a good feeling. One of the best movies seen in a very long time. My grandson loves pugs and loved this movie. He also wrote the title for this message.

This is just a terrible movie. Every cliche in the book, not an original, or funny, line, almost insulting in its banality. A superb cast, given absolutely nothing to work with - script not even edited. All concerned should be ashamed of themselves - clearly a vanity project for Jennifer Saunders

Having seen the trailer numerous times on kids tv channels this was the obvious choice for a trip to the cinema for celebrating school ending. If you are wanting a film that will keep them occupied for 90 minutes then just about fits the bill. Easy to follow Plot that isn't terribly original but zips along and is pleasant enough. The main cast put there all into it and it's good to see some classic British actors in cameos. The star of the film is the Pug though. Always cute, always looking for trouble. If there was more then it would be even better.
