Strong acting helps the film overcome an uncertain premise and create characters that hold our attention absolutely.

A delightful charming film that has to be welcome in a Hindi Film Industry.Few films show us answers and reasons, few films challenge our observation and leave questions for us, so that we find answers. This films challenged me, I was surprised to see Paresh Rawal play 3 different characters and all 3 betray our super hero thief Lucky(Abhay Deol). So this commonality of characterisation was what Dibakar Banerjee wanted to show to us. Also, lot many questions are shown as to how silly people are, actually are they so silly? May be yes, if you give in you will enjoy this throughly and even if you do not then you are left to explore the logic and in each character seems to be adamant about what it wants to achieve. The most plus point of this film is Abhay Deol who plays Lucky and is fluent at what he does. He does not seem to be acting anywhere, just reacting to what has happened and just doing what that character would expectedly be doing. Actually a weird character but after a while we just get used to his pranks and his ways of stealing. Nicely written by Dibakar Banerjee in bringing out the milieu and flavor of a Delhi that is all in its characters, the cinematography should also be commended. Above and all, I would go with the costume design that are actually gaudy flashy and yet seem to be speaking a language of the character. I would deride, editing though and editing could have been lot better. Lot many scenes just to establish a character even after that character has made an impact...I am talking about Gogi (Paresh Rawal -2) and too many photographs in the last part of the film. I would have enjoyed it more had we known how Lucky plots each theft and what goes on in his mind.I would go with a 3/5 for a movie that seems to be simple yet is bring alive by its characters that are multi layered and have for sure made an impact.

May be I am not really a person for dark comedy. I felt it as only a so-so movie. Even when I was watching in DVD, I took break 3 times in between. I felt it was quite boring at times. But still there are nice and funny scenes coming in between. So it could be watched once. Neetu Chandra acted horrible. Abhay Deol was decent acting as always. Didn't really find the need of Paresh Rawal representing three characters. Songs were also just so-so.I wouldn't call it the best movie and all. But if you have a lot of time left, may be you can give it a try.

There is not 0 (zero) for vote otherwise I would have selected that one. The movie has broke one record - "The WORST movie of my life". Entire movie doesn't mean any sense. The acting is pathetic and senseless. We watched this movie on Friday night and HONESTLY, we couldn't sleep until 2 AM. We were thinking that our life is meaningless just because we spent 2 hours for this meaningless movie. It not only ruined our Friday night but also the Weekend. Seriously, I would have spent those 2 hours in restroom rather then watching this pathetic movie. Please give yourself and your family a fever and do not spend 1 minute to talk/watch/read/write about this movie.

Oye Lucky Lucky Oye ! Lucky to get such a wonderful movie. when bollywood is producing only crap on name of Big flicks, OLLO, comparatively very low budget flick, brings a Breeze of freshness. The movie is a true masterpiece and extremely original because of its sheer brilliant direction. Hats off to Mr.Dibakar Banerjee for this great, aesthetic and tasteful movie in all the aspects. Dibakar earns full points for being that courageous to experiment is all the parts of movie, whether it is characterization, or multiple roles by Paresh Bhai, or folk, traditional music. Creativity inside him seems to be boiling in full temperature and that really raises our expectation bar for the next time. Abhay Deol could be the only adequate choice for that Ultra cool "Superchor" and he proves it. Abhay, having a special crowd of fans, again gifts them a terrific movie. His acing is awesome and fits very nicely to the character. His chuckling face, innocent smile drives you crazy and evokes a sense of pristine happiness inside you. Paresh Rawal is one of the most talented character artist of Hindi film industry and this movie consolidates the fact. One thing, I am sure about the movie, those who will like it, wont be able to control himself watching it again and again. Very solid performance by young lucky and his cute, innocent greeting card girl. That sequence of movie is super cute and makes you hold your heart and breath. Music adds flavor in the movie and very nicely transplanted in background, that makes movie very speedy. Also for those who does not know, the singers were selected by folk songs competitions in haryana and Punjab's villages. Brilliant idea!! Truly wonderful and natural music, superb acting and innovative direction ! Kudos to all !!
