Good start, but then it gets ruined
... View MoreAt first rather annoying in its heavy emphasis on reenactments, this movie ultimately proves fascinating, simply because the complicated, highly dramatic tale it tells still almost defies belief.
... View MoreThis is a must-see and one of the best documentaries - and films - of this year.
... View MoreExcellent characters with emotional depth. My wife, daughter and granddaughter all enjoyed it...and me, too! Very good movie! You won't be disappointed.
... View MoreRemember that dumb movie by Midnight Shallow Light called "Unbreakable" starring Bruce Willis and how he couldn't be destroyed. This movie is even dumber. How dumb is this movie? Even the kid that plays the dumb kid is dumb. And does the pretty actress in this movie have any naked pictures of herself on the internet? No! Was the music score in this movie any good? Well, it was too good actually. Will this movie be a hidden gem in a hundred years? Not in a million. The movie starts off as a mystery in that not quite enough information connects the dots to make the story understandable. It is almost as if one is starting off from a sequel, or worse, from a cheap TV series. Look, don't end your life. Instead, just don't watch this movie. It isn't even dumb enough to be watched as a comedy.

If you want to sit down and enjoy a sweet and inspiring film, do yourself a favor and watch this some evening with no expectation and prejudgment and you will most likely fall in love with film as I have. Sure some of the story might be a little ambiguous in the beginning however it works for this film. It allows the wonderment we had as kids to surface and bloom like a flower in summertime. I was enchanted how the ability to heal was unfolded in the story line. I felt that this was a great first effort by Marcus Dean Fuller and hope to see more come down the road. I stand up and cheer.
... View MoreI recently watched One Fall on Demand. It truly is a wonderful, wonderful movie. I was very refreshed to watch something that inspired hope. I'm looking forward to more of Marcus Fuller's works. The movie is about a man, James, who develops the power to heal sick people around him after he somehow survives a fall off of a cliff just outside a town, One Fall. After the fall, James leaves his hometown. He didn't know how to reveal his new power to his friends and family. After a short stint in jail, he returns home. He begins to use his gift for personal profit--everyone loves his gift, but secretly he's using it only for financial and status gain. James begins to question his own motives and must figure out why he was fortunate enough to survive such a drastic fall. It's a grand tale of how we all use our individual gifts--sometimes for selfish reasons, but ultimately, we must make sacrifices and place our talents in the right places. Enjoyed the movie very much! Give it a watch!
... View MoreOne Fall tells the story of James Bond (I love this reminds me of a name pun I employed in one of my screenplays), played by Marcus, who miraculously survived a 200 foot fall. After a very brief recovery (that's an understatement), he disappeared from the city of One Fall without explanation. He even left behind his beautiful fiancé. He later returns to One Fall to face the music and use the gift he undeniably has. However, healing people doesn't come cheap. There's that moral dilemma I was talking about two paragraphs above. What would you do if you had this power? Would you exploit it or use it for greater good? James wrestles with this and more as people all around him, even loved ones, start to push him away. They can't understand him. To them, the man who fell never came back. James must come to grip with who he is, why he survived that fall and what he is meant to do in this world with his gift. Again wow! The story is not only profound in my opinion, but very powerful, deep and touching. (Read the full review at whysoblu dot com)
