November Rule Trailers

Up-and-coming sports shoe entrepreneur Steve, who is still reeling from the death of his dad, has made a "November rule" in order to keep his distance from the women who seem to be getting too serious about their relationship. Every November 1st, Steve makes up a whopping lie in order to break up with his current girlfriend. However, this year, when he gives the beautiful Leah her walking papers, he realizes his immature and arbitrary rule has just lost him the woman of his dreams. But whether he can win Leah back seems increasingly doubtful, especially after she starts dating pro sports star, James Avedon.

Good start, but then it gets ruined

It isn't all that great, actually. Really cheesy and very predicable of how certain scenes are gonna turn play out. However, I guess that's the charm of it all, because I would consider this one of my guilty pleasures.

I think this is a new genre that they're all sort of working their way through it and haven't got all the kinks worked out yet but it's a genre that works for me.

22 November 2015 "November Rule" is a wonderfully funny and romantic movie. It is low budget, but has a good cast with very beautiful and talented African Panamanian Latina, Tatyana Ali. Tat does speak Spanish. I am happy to see more dark skin Latinos and Latinas in movies or television such as Gina Torres, Zoe Saldaña, Jeir Marie Osorio, Laz Alonso to name a few. The little baby sister from the t.v show "Fresh Prince of Bel Air" has grown into beautiful bombshell, but with brains and talent. Tatyana is a Harvard graduate. I have seen her in other low budget urban movies such as "The Brothers", "Nora's Hair Salon" and her recent t.v show "Love That Girl". She is right up there in talent and looks as beautiful actress Megan Good.Anyhoo, this movie about a guy who has a bad habit of dumping girlfriends that he is almost getting into a serious {time to meet her family} relationship with due to commitment phobia, but this time he goes to far with a lie about a sick aunt. He ends up letting go of the best girl he ever had and soon wakes the hell up from la la land and realizes that she is the one that he wants to put a ring on it. We want to feel sorry for him, but we will not because of his own inept stupidity of game playing in the first place. He does what ever he has to do to get her back. Lala Vasquez-Anthony is not a great actress, but she looks good on camera and is okay in her role, the same as she was in the movie "Baggage Claim" with beautiful and talented actress Paula Patton. It is totally unrealistic that a woman as pretty as Lala is going to be romantically hooking up with a geeky dork like guy, DJ unless he is super billionaire wealthy.Actors Mo McCrae, DJ Qualls and Rick Gonzalez are okay in their roles. Several years ago, I saw Rick in a good low budget movie " Illegal Tender" in 2007 with two very pretty Latina actresses, Zulay Henao (Colombia) and Dania Ramirez (Republica Dominicana). Over all this movie is worth watching as a DVD Red Box rental or cable channel or Net Flix.
