Too much of everything
... View MoreSuch a frustrating disappointment
... View MoreOk... Let's be honest. It cannot be the best movie but is quite enjoyable. The movie has the potential to develop a great plot for future movies
... View MoreThere's a more than satisfactory amount of boom-boom in the movie's trim running time.
... View MoreThis movie was a casual pick for me and then as i was watching it, it made me cry! I don't usually cry but this movie had the perfect amount of emotion and love! It was so good to watch a movie that didn't have the main character not stand up for herself.
... View MoreWell, Paris Warner showed the victim behaviour well: young people who are used to emotional violence usually move as if they are "wooden", they don't know how to react "correctly", they have difficulties in communication, they are shy, unconfident, they don't know how to show their emotions and it's hard for them to get difference between saying "i love you" and actually meaning it and they can easily stuck in relationships they don't need because of the fear to hurt a person (or because of belief that it's a normal situation) etc. So without any help they can actually grow up into adult victims. Tim Flynn was ok. But the rest of this story is quite poor: i didn't like neither script nor other actors.
... View MoreThis is not a film that I'd ever choose to watch. In fact, it was my sister who picked this film. I thought I'd be gone in a few minutes - I was tempted to but I wanted to gauge how bad the film was after seeing the clichéd Aunt. However, with such character clichés and a following coincidence where Indy finds out more about her Mother's experience, this film grew on me. I stopped caring as much about the aforementioned and became involved with the protagonist. This is directly due to the solid performance of Paris Warner who plays Indy. Her portrayal is naturalised of someone who has grown to be treated subserviently. And given the anti-Cinderella stamp (based on the novel by Jenni James), Warner was able to evade the synonymous character to some extent, allowing the character to have her own story.
... View MoreI started watching this movie at 6:45 PM. At 6:50 I said I was giving it until 7:00 to get better or I would switch to another movie, but by then I was asleep. Woke up in time to give it until 8:00 and finished the movie only because I was too tired to work the remote. It would have gotten zero stars except it was so bad as to be entertaining for its badness alone. LOL, it is like Nicholas Sparks and Mr. Rogers collaborated on the script.
