... View Morethis documentary was filmed shortly after Manny Pacquiao had made the boxing world take notice of his talents following his victory over Marco Antonio Barrera (in what was a non-title bout). Leading up to the Barrera fight, it centres on Manny's early years, his various titles at junior level and his participation in Asian international titles, one example being a bout with a Thai champion. From the documentary point of view, these fights are talked about as being Manny's formative years. The documentary is largely in anticipation of what is to come from Manny, shortly after this (2004) he would of course go on to have epic fights with Eric Morales and others. The film also contains footage of his two meetings with President of The Philippines (and self proclaimed boxing fan), Mrs. Maria Gloria Macapagal-Arroyo where they discuss just how much of a role model Manny has become to all young Filipinos.
