... View MoreNew Brooklyn to New York via Brooklyn Bridge, No. 2 (1899) For this two minute film an Edison cameraman jumped on a train and pretty much started filming. You really do have to wonder if this cameraman was simply returning to the studio after a day's work and decided to start filming and it ended up being released. There's certainly nothing too special to be seen here but it's interesting seeing the old advertising boards as well as the various houses. I think people from Brooklyn would get a kick out of seeing what the neighborhood used to look like. There's not too much entertainment purpose to be had from this film but fans of early cinema will at least find it fascinating.
