The Municipality of Hoshiarpur not only honors it's Assistant Commissioner of Police Pratap Singh but also promotes him as the Commissioner. While Pratap's brother-in-law is also a police officer, his son, Nishant, quite comically, wants to be a bandit, and much to Pratap's chagrin, wants to follow in the steps of Sholay's Gabbar Singh. Things get out of control after a bank is robbed, and the police launch a man-hunt for the robbers, whose leader they believe is none other than Nishant.

There are moments that feel comical, some horrific, and some downright inspiring but the tonal shifts hardly matter as the end results come to a film that's perfect for this time.

This movie feels like it was made purely to piss off people who want good shows

Great example of an old-fashioned, pure-at-heart escapist event movie that doesn't pretend to be anything that it's not and has boat loads of fun being its own ludicrous self.

I would recommend all of you to watch this movie. Its absolutely funny, all the dialogues and stuff. Bobby deol only has a two minute role in the movie, vivek shauq (jaspal bhatti's assistant) is the main hero and he did a good job. Apart from that movie is filled with so many popular comedians from the punjabi scene: Ghuggi, Bhalla, Jabal, Jabbal's wife, Bhatti in a guest role, and a few new introductions.I give this movie a 10 outta 10. Great Movie I must say, It will definitely have you rolling on the floor laughing. I don't know why i never heard about the release of this movie. It was never marketed like it should have been. I think if they had advertised the movie with the name of all those comedians it would have done very well. Just Watch and Enjoy the movie!!!
