It's a mild crowd pleaser for people who are exhausted by blockbusters.

The joyful confection is coated in a sparkly gloss, bright enough to gleam from the darkest, most cynical corners.

OK I say amazing Movie but it is so much more .. It is an example of what really happens.. Sure most of the time our government doesn't want us to see the bad in things only the things that make them look good. This is an example of what our soldiers go threw. Its a shame that we had to lose these amazing men .But Thank God one survived and was able to share what he went threw.. Most people would not like a child see this move but my 6 yr Grandson was glued to the TV watching Murphy the protector and he wants to see this move and I will gladly go buy it so he can watch it.This just goes to show us what true Heros are and how blessed we are that we had them to serve our country

Murph: The Protector is a summary of what is good about America. While the movie is about one man, one family, and one set of friends, it exemplifies the ethic that made our Country great! Through Murph, we see the selfless dedication to something that is larger than ourselves. We see Brotherhood exemplified and see demonstrated the value of Family being the most important fabric of our great nation. In a time of "oneupmanship", Murph keeps it real. No action, no gore, just simple love, friendship, and sacrifice for what is right and good. Murph is about valuing human life (as displayed by holding, then releasing the shepherds-noncombatants at the Team's own risk). The film also shows the value of a support system at home.I took my family to see this movie, including my 12 year old daughter, mostly to honor a man. But also to show that perseverance, dedication, and servitude are characteristics that should be held in high regard by every person in the US. If we showed more of Murph's ethic in our daily lives, we would all be better for it. God Bless the Murphy family.

I've seen Murph: The Protector 4 times so far, and each time I am even more amazed at how his life set him up for his final destination. The way the interviews tell the story is truly moving when you see the giant role he has played in peoples lives. To see how his scholarship foundation is still making dreams come true. I was honored enough to see Marcus Luttrell speak on his Patriot Tour and have an even greater respect for Lt. Murphy. The American public would not fully know the story of those Heroes from Operation Red Wings if Murph hadn't put his neck out and made the call. While the documentary isn't jam packed with action of a SEAL, it's full of their other side. Explaining how and why they do what they do to become the best in the world. It's fully worth the money and time spent to watch the film. I wish there more out there.

As a sister to a soldier whose deployed numerous times I see the person a soldier is at home not just the warrior. This movie really shows who the men and women are fighting for our freedom. spotlights a true hero...not an athlete. We need more people like Murph in the world. He wasn't just a great Seal but a great man and person. This movie shows that. It also shows what families go through and let me tell you its not easy. This is an amazing film I highly recommend it. This is something that will make you cry and make you laugh. It will inspire you to be a better person and make you want to stand up and fight for your country your community your family. Best documentary I've seen.
