Mr. Halloween Trailers

The town of Sauquoit, New York has a local legend, which says that the reclusive man who runs the annual Halloween haunted house uses real body parts to make his attraction so frightening. This is a legend that is taken lightly by everyone until the youth of the town begin disappearing, and people start pointing fingers. The remaining teens of the town want to get to the bottom of the mystery, so they decide to check out that old haunted house for themselves. As more kids disappear, less of the mystery is solved. And why is the Sheriff so uninterested in investigating Bill Loomis, who has gotten the nickname... Mr. Halloween...

Disturbing yet enthralling

It’s an especially fun movie from a director and cast who are clearly having a good time allowing themselves to let loose.

The movie's neither hopeful in contrived ways, nor hopeless in different contrived ways. Somehow it manages to be wonderful

This was literally the worst movie I have ever seen. If you want to watch something that looked like it was made by high school kids then watch this movie. The performance of Jill; who appears to be the only girl with a working vagina in the quaint little town of sauqoit as mom-jean wearing girl next door made me want to blind myself with acid so that I could be sure I never have to see it again. Absolutely TERRIBLE. the best part of the movie is when Jill kept her mom jeans on. Glad I got to see nothing but camel toe for over an hour. Amateur acting is an under statement. Rating this as a one is generous. It has zero story line, and it is just 150% bootleg. Even the names of the characters are ridiculous " Jack, Jill, Mike and Bill" really creative and well thought out. I've read seventh grade research papers that were more interesting and exciting.

Local recluse Bill Loomis has earned the nickname Mr. Halloween thanks to rumors that he uses real children's body parts for his haunted house attraction. When several kids go missing in the sleepy small town of Sauquoit, a band of youths decide to find out if Loomis is responsible for these disappearances. Sound good? Well, it just ain't. Co-writer/director Andrew Wolf crucially fails to build any necessary suspense or spooky atmosphere. Worse yet, Wolf allows the pace to plod at a painfully sluggish rate and uses a flat style that sucks the juice out of the movie (the numbing surplus of tedious dialogue scenes in particular are an absolute grueling chore to endure). The rank amateur acting from a lame no-name cast, the static cinematography, the grindingly predictable narrative, a generic hum'n'shiver score, the tin-eared profanity-ridden dialogue, the tacky gore, the hopelessly hackneyed script, and, most damagingly of all, the brutally overlong 112 minute running time all add further abject insult to already appalling injury. To be fair, Loomis attacks his savage wackjob role with a reasonable amount of teeth-gnashing brio and Shannon Eastman sure looks mighty cute as imperilled teen Jill Reeder. Moreover, things finally burst to fairly energetic and exciting life at the rousing climax, but by then it's much too little far too late to compensate for the overall excruciating boredom that permeates this stiff like a heavy fog on a dismal rainy day. A real wash-out.

I recently found this title at K-Mart on a DVD with three other indie horror movies. I was skeptical at first but once Mr. Halloween got started I found myself pleasantly surprised at how entertaining it was. Having grown up in the country I could relate to the characters curiosity about the "weird" guy in town. The Halloween scenes were very atmospheric and reminded me of the time I spent working at a Halloween attraction back in the 90s. "Mr. Halloween" was humorous and creepy, the amateur acting actually worked for his character. I thought Miss Eastman was a natural actress both charming and cute in the "girl next door" kind of way. The Sheriff was a real A-hole, and the deputy was a dunce. There were some bad special effects, and a few scenes where the characters did some really stupid s*** but that is to be expected in this caliber of film. Mr. Wolf probably should have not cast his brother as an actor, but I can forgive him this as he managed to keep my attention with his movie. All in all I was not disappointed.

I thought that the movie was really good considering they didn't spend much money on making it. It was a dark movie about children being kidnapped and killed that would give you the chills. I loved it. But I like to pretend that Im the real Mr. Halloween and I'm looking for more victims. Watch this movie and see what happens. I love to meet new people who want to meet the wrath of MR HALLOWEEN!!!!!!When I watch this movie I like to be in the dark with all the blinds closed,. I scream and shake in pain until the movie is over.Check out the trailer and the making of Mr Halloween on you tube. You will like it.I heard from other people who seen this movie how much they liked it because it put there minds in a weird place for days. In conclusion it's a cool flick that has a 70's feel to it.I say give it a watch and tell your friends too,.
