That was an excellent one.

... View Morea film so unique, intoxicating and bizarre that it not only demands another viewing, but is also forgivable as a satirical comedy where the jokes eventually take the back seat.
... View MoreHey everybody Merry Christmas Today I'm going to talk about the 2004 CGI Film Mickey Twice Upon a Christmas which have on VHS growing up. This is film has new Christmas tales like Minnie Mouse and Daisy Duck fighting over the spotlight in ice skating contest. Huey, Dewey and Louie learn the true meaning of Christmas instead of being selfish. I i really like this Christmas Special and just watch it again this past Tuesday an I really like it . It is a really cute Christmas Special and I don't care if it is in CGI it's a cute Special. I recommend this Special to anyway who like Mickey Mouse and Disney. Anyway giving Mickey Twice Upon a Christmas get a 10/10 stars. Anyway Merry Christmas 2015. Updated December 18th, 2016
... View MoreProbably not as heartwarming and memorable as the first film ("Mickey's Once Upon A Christmas"), this one is also fun, entertaining and amusing (perhaps even more amusing than the last one)! Unfortunately the stories aren't as well-planned as they could be, with unnecessarily mean characters (even Louie, Douie and Huey are a bit meaner than usual) and unnecessary grumpiness. Like the last film, this has a few stories about Mickey and his friends at Yuletide. This is computer animated and also unlike the first film, has more stories. The first story is about Daisy and Minnie dancing on ice and both becoming cross with each other. Beautiful skating and all, but this has too harmless and aggressive a plot for a normal enjoyment, unless you are a tiny kid who thinks violence and arguing is all right, or a parent who wants their child to see what they could be like. Personal rating: 5 and a half out of ten. The second story has Douie, Huey and Louie going to where Santa lives to try and be on his list so they can get presents. This one is the most fast paced and exciting and not all that bad either. The CGI used in this one to portray many different things is very well done and would probably not be done nearly as well in cartoon. Huey, Douie and Louie are incredibly naughty as well, but they usually are anyway. Personal rating: 7.The third story is the shortest, but is surprisingly well done. Max, with his girlfriend, are going to go round to his house with Goofy and Goofy, being his goofy self, will be likely to still play the goof. The background song is entertaining and well-sung and this story is also funny, which is "refreshing". Unfortunately we mainly see Max as a grumpy teenager, which is not so refreshing. A good way to describe this: A clean glass of lovely cold water, with quite a large dob of spit added to it. Personal rating: 6. The fourth story is mainly about the hot chocolate-loving Donald and because of this obsession he has no cares whatsoever. This story is luckily funny and entertaining, with well-used CGI yet again. **SLIGHT SPOILERS AHEAD** However, the change in Donald is a wee bit too quick, lowering down the quality of this part of the film. **SPOILERS OVER**. Personal rating: 7.The fifth story is probably the most well-done, despite being slightly sad and depressing. Pluto knocks over all of Mickey's Christmas decorations by accident and is sent to his doghouse. Thinking that Mickey no longer loves him, Pluto runs away. A sweet and especially amusing story, the most heartwarming of the lot. Personal rating: 8.Recommended to Mickey Mouse fans and CGI likers. Enjoy "Mickey's Twice Upon A Christmas"! :-)
... View MoreThis isn't your father's Disney. The original Disney franchise players now reside in the Land Where Everyone is Nice, preschool toons rendered in kiddie-grade Pixarish 3D. Mickey always was a little wimpy but even Donald has been completely Dippified with the Evil Daisy Duck browbeating him at every opportunity. He was a WWII hero for chrissakes, selling War Bonds to defeat the Nazis! Goofy has become a caricature of himself and his goofiness has been choreographed to a perfect death, Huey Dewey & Louie can't stay conniving for more than 30 seconds without guilt spoiling it all, while Pluto would be better off on Animal Control's 3 Day Plan. Its not pretty, what they've done to these old Toons. The only way to reclaim my interest after this would be Donald doing his popular 'Who's Your Daddy?' with Daisy sparking his enthusiasm. I'd like to see someone with a duckbill pull that off They could've made it an Easter egg, being ducks after all. I can give this one a 7 because kids like it. They don't know any better.
... View MoreI rented this, watched it, and I really enjoyed it. I wasn't expecting much, but I was surprised. Each of the stories were very good, and they each had a moral at the end. The first one is about Daisy Duck and Minnie Mouse fighting for the spotlight at a ice skating competition, the second one was about a Christmas gone wrong at Donald Duck's house, the third about Goofy and his son Max, who is bringing his girlfriend over for a visit, and is afraid that his dad will embarrass him. The fourth one is about Donald's trouble with spreading Christmas cheer, and finally, the fourth - the best one - about a fight that is resolved between Mickey Mouse and Pluto through an intervention from Santa and a few of his wisecracking reindeer. All in all, I loved this, and I think I may add it to my Disney DVD collection! Recommended!
