Medusa's Child Trailers

Fuming over the departure of his wife Vivian and the cutting of his research funding, crazy nuclear scientist Rogers Henry constructs Medusa, a thermonuclear bomb capable of generating a continent-sized electro-magnetic pulse; such EMP could effectively destroy a computer-based society. He dupes Vivian into bringing it to the Pentagon to exact his final revenge on the government, rigging it so it will explode before its count-down if Vivian's pacemaker isn't within fifteen feet of it. Medusa arms itself in the air aboard Scott Nash's 737 cargo plane, and with Hurricane Sigrid about to hit the coast, nobody wants to let them land. Based on the novel by John J. Nance.

Completely unreal. Utterly ludicrous. Nowhere near reality. The plot is idiotic. The aircraft crew has an atomic bomb on board but they stay calm all the way, even deciding to disobey the US army and the President. As if they knew everything that had to be done better than the FBI and army experts. And they do as they please, flying wherever they feel like. Tom and Jerry cartoons were more realistic than that ! For the first time in years I decided to turn the TV off before the end, not even wanting to know how that made-for-TV movie will end. I couldn't care less. That says a lot. If you like childish movies, this one is for you. If you like good movies, forget it.

Even though this teevee movie is as predictable as they come, the mad scientist, the fearless pilots, the smart, tough as nails, but beautiful broads, the foolish military leaders and the honest, human president, you won't be disappointed with the heart-stopping suspense, great special effects and above all, the dynamite acting.

This has got to be one of the biggest loads of garbage (I'm being polite) I have ever seen.Wait for the open heart surgery performed by a bimbo doctor of science without anaesthetic mid-flight at an open cargo door, that causes no pain and is over in 2 minutes! If you believe this you'll probably enjoy this rubbish.Good special effects for a telemovie though.

I really liked this movie. Even though they changed a few things from the book, they kept the suspense up and running. The casting was perfect and well acted. Especially Vincent Spano as the Captain. I would recommend this film to anyone, and I will buy a copy of the video when it is available.
