The joyful confection is coated in a sparkly gloss, bright enough to gleam from the darkest, most cynical corners.

There are moments that feel comical, some horrific, and some downright inspiring but the tonal shifts hardly matter as the end results come to a film that's perfect for this time.

It really made me laugh, but for some moments I was tearing up because I could relate so much.

This is one of the best movies that the gifted actor Mammootty has ever done. The direction, screenplay, dialogs have all been excellently planned and executed. The plot involves Mammoootty as a professor who gets into a sticky situation when one of his students played by Annie falls in love with him. Age difference aside, Mammootty is also in love with Shobhana who is in a sort of paralyzed state but is quickly recovering from it. The film is all about how Annie reacts to this and how all their lives are affected by this. The film has great humor support by Sreenivasan. The situations created by Kamal are very much lively and could happen to anyone. Mammootty delivers a great performance, well supported by Shobhana, Sreenivasan and Annie. Great film to watch!
