I think this is a new genre that they're all sort of working their way through it and haven't got all the kinks worked out yet but it's a genre that works for me.

At first rather annoying in its heavy emphasis on reenactments, this movie ultimately proves fascinating, simply because the complicated, highly dramatic tale it tells still almost defies belief.

It’s not bad or unwatchable but despite the amplitude of the spectacle, the end result is underwhelming.

Such a wonderful love story with the brilliant message that love conquers all! This film will bring out the child in all and take you away to a wondrous world of leprechauns and fairies. I find anything with Robert Hamli Snr. involved in it is worth watching and this is no exception! A star studded cast including Randy Quiad, Whoopi Goldberg, Colm Meaney and Kieran Culkin plus a few fresh faces makes this movie a definite one to watch. The lovely scenery is inescapably one of the best features of this film next to the high class cast and crew! Fun for the whole family and fantasy lovers alike! Daniel Betts makes for the eye candy in this family friendly film! Absolutely fabulous!

To be honest, when my nephew insisted we watch the show I was a little sour and was'nt for it at all as it seemed too much like a children's show. Though as the show progressed I found myself more and more into it and ultimately fell in love with both the movie and it's well portrayed charicters. I would recommend this movie to people of all ages, it truley is a MUST SEE!

While I watched this I kept thinking about William Shakespeare's "Romeo and Juliet", which is very similar to this movie right down to the warring families. There are however many differences which make this better than just another adaption to the play. I enjoyed watching this mini series as I love magic and anything to do with it.
