I like the storyline of this show,it attract me so much
... View MoreSuch a frustrating disappointment
... View MoreBrilliant and touching
... View MoreGreat example of an old-fashioned, pure-at-heart escapist event movie that doesn't pretend to be anything that it's not and has boat loads of fun being its own ludicrous self.
... View MoreMichael Muhney stars in this film as Andrew, a college at University of Northern Illinois. The film is done on location in DeKalb, Illinois. The story is believable but not great. You can believe their college students. Muhney adds depth to Andrew's shallowness. Andrew is the good looking guy that girls want to be with and guys want to hang out with. The film is set around Thanksgiving time where the outdoor fall scenery adds to the film's authenticity. I do believe Eduardo's was also the bar as well. It's a low budget film about college life. It's not a great film but Muhney acts best of all. The other cast members act and look like college students. The film is low budget which would explain its limitation.
... View MoreThis is a great movie.I was not sure what to expect but I am glad I watched this one. It really depicts what college life is like. I loved the resident R.A. He made me laugh at the way he was both friend and baby sitter to his group of charges. The movie moves along at a nice clip.Funny and very enjoyable from start to finish. Appealing for a wide range of ages, young to the young at heart. Michael Muhney shines as Andrew the dorm hound dog who has a one night stand with his room mates dream girl. A talented cast of young actors make this a movie worth watching. Whether you are in college or just want to remember that time in your life sign up for a crash course in Love 101.
... View MoreDrew (Andrew) witnessed his parents' divorce when he was 11 and how it ruined his father's life. Now, Drew is in college and as a handsome young man has become a serial seducer. He easily meets and sleeps with women only to dump them. Drew doesn't do relationships; he doesn't even do second dates. Joe, Drew's roommate, willingly puts up with being denied access to his room every time there is a `sock on the doorknob' and the two boys are actually good friends even though Joe is the polar opposite of Drew. Not terribly attractive and a bit of a nebbish around women, Joe has been attracted to Shayna, a girl in his Chem. class for weeks but has not worked up the courage to ask her out. When Joe confesses his infatuation to Drew just before Thanksgiving break, Drew advises him to `just go for it' and Joe resolves to follow that advice and ask Shayna out as soon as he returns. Unfortunately while Joe is away, Drew and Shayna meet up in a bar and the inevitable happens. In the morning Drew treats her as he has so many others, only to realize too late, that his feelings for her are different. I was pleasantly surprised to see that this film had this much depth. What I expected to be another hormone driven teen movie actually turned out to have a well crafted story-line and some insight into how the characters might feel. I'd recommend this film and look forward to seeing more by this film-maker.
... View MoreIf you are not from the Midwest (let alone Chicago), or didn't attend Northern Illinois University, or you are not enrolled in a university right now, you probably wouldn't understand the script of this film. The actors/actresses overall do a fine job with the script, although you will catch some flaws along the way, but portraying Midwestern college kids they do not. The lines in the film are a bunch of cliche, one-liners, that would be difficult to understand for the average moviegoer. Some of the scenes get boring and can run rather long. The story is basic, but it works. Two roommates, one girl, one dorky guy is enamored with her, the cool guy gets her. What's going to happen?!The movie makes you kind of want to go back to college and stay there, but is it all believeable? You make the call.
