Excellent, Without a doubt!!
... View MoreIt’s sentimental, ridiculously long and only occasionally funny
... View MoreThe film may be flawed, but its message is not.
... View MoreThrough painfully honest and emotional moments, the movie becomes irresistibly relatable
... View MoreThis is Johnson's second short film (Bent). I had the pleasure of seeing a early viewing of this film in early 2014. It is visually beautiful and captivating. I honestly didn't know what to expect before seeing this film. Amy Jo Johnson shines (as usual) her acting and comedic timing land perfectly alongside Enrico Colantoni. It follows Amelia going for a routine dermatologist appointment and her doctor trying to talk her into a light cosmetic procedure. It's very much a coming to age story for the younger older woman. Self love, appreciation, gratitude. Learning to be happy about who you're growing into as a person, but on a physical level.
