good back-story, and good acting

This movie was so-so. It had it's moments, but wasn't the greatest.

Strong acting helps the film overcome an uncertain premise and create characters that hold our attention absolutely.

No matter what movie Mellisa is in, she steals the show as always, not the best of scripts like her previous movies like Heat or Spy but not short of laughs or entertainment. She has once again proved that she can pull something off even if the script is a simple one. There were so many hillarious scenes with her and some of the castI enjoyed the movie overall, if you want to have a good time been entertained by Mellisa then dont miss out in this fun and hillarious movie.

Don't watch with your teens especially not 13-17. Anything with Melissa McCarthy is R.

I went in to this thinking it's gonna be classic McCarthy comedy, and there were a couple of really funny scenes, but the rest is... cute. It's a cute feel good movie for a sunday night, and for that it's good enough for me.

I'm shocked at this low score. I guess you're either a fan of Melissa McCarthy or you're not, and seeing that I am, I really enjoyed this film. It was constant laughs and one scene where I can't remember laughing so hard for so long - I had to rewind that scene 3x I laughed so hard! The writing was cute and had a heartfelt story. The acting, directing and editing was all perfect. I really enjoyed this and am sure you will too. A well deserved 9/10 from me!
