Leap: Rise of the Beast Trailers

In the near future, the world leaders have given up their power to Vatican City. While most rejoice at the thought of world peace and religious tolerance, Shane Turner and his Leap Crew aren't buying into it. It's not long before they identify the papal power as the Beast of Revelation and speak out against it. In response, the Vatican sets out to hunt down the Leap Crew. The end has begun!

It's a mild crowd pleaser for people who are exhausted by blockbusters.

The film creates a perfect balance between action and depth of basic needs, in the midst of an infertile atmosphere.

While it doesn't offer any answers, it both thrills and makes you think.

Excellent and certainly provocative... If nothing else, the film is a real conversation starter.

Honestly, I couldn't get through enough of this to even decide if it deserved a rating at all. As much as I am a fan of the end-times genre, and trust me, I've seen most of them, from the Omen to Left Behind, and everything in between. Budget isn't always an issue, but this one showed it's budget, or lack thereof, and its one fight scene I saw was quite ridiculous. Yes, you can make a great film on a small budget, as long as the story is there. But this lacked any production value at all, and even the acting was poorly done. Whether it is biblically sound, I don't know, because it was too horrid to even make it to the point. I wish luck to those behind this film in their future endeavors, but please, make sure you actually have production skills.

I haven't bothered to post a review before, but after 15 minutes of this tripe I felt compelled, especially as it has an overall rating of 9.4- which is totally misleading. This has an interesting story-line, but was made on shoestring budget and it looks it. The film has appalling action scenes, appalling actors and appalling dialog, in fact overall it's appalling. I was kind with a 2 rating- save yourself the trouble and avoid like the... (Armageddon- plague!). I could go into an exposition of the plot, but this isn't where the movie falls down- I read the plot summary rather than watch the whole movie- I couldn't, it was that bad. It's production values that are missing here. I and my friends could have shot and edited this on home video and it would look better. The opening fight scene, where the leader of "the Leap crew" comes to the aid of a cornered victim about to be beaten by a policeman and burly thug is without doubt the worst I've ever seen. Just because an aspiring filmmaker thinks they know how to do action, does not mean that they can or should do action.

If you want to understand truth of Bible Prophecy do not turn to the Left Behind movies. The Left Behind movies are entertaining but not scripture accurate and the Left Behind series are deceiving many people. This movie was made on a much lower budget but it is entertaining with a very well written script that is scripture accurate. Many biblical end-time movies are based on an end-time delusion that cannot be supported by the Bible but this one is an exception. I am happy that they done such a good job with such a low budget. The movie features some great action scenes as well.My only hope is that more people get a chance to see this movie.
