This is one of the few movies I've ever seen where the whole audience broke into spontaneous, loud applause a third of the way in.

Predictable but fun. Obviously the authors of the script had no good relation to serious literature. To become accepted by the cultural elite is not easy but the female chic-lit author Selma finds herself a culture coach and starts writing a more serious novel on Gotland. Unfortunately her plans are spoiled by John, a cover band musician living on a camping nearby. Or maybe not. There is also the other guy from Stockholm, already half-way to enter the establishment. Why any of these guys should matter so much for her writing is unclear. This is a romantic comedy with some pretensions of criticizing the establishment. It would have been great if the movie had something profound to say about the elite controlling Swedish, and international, literature (Bonnier, the Nobel Committee, etc). Now it is just a pretty good romantic comedy, which is not a bad accomplishment at all.
