Kingsglaive: Final Fantasy XV Trailers

The magical kingdom of Lucis is home to the world’s last remaining Crystal, and the menacing empire of Niflheim is determined to steal it. King Regis of Lucis commands an elite force of soldiers called the Kingsglaive. Wielding their king’s magic, they fight to protect Lucis. As the overwhelming military might of the empire bears down, King Regis is faced with an impossible ultimatum – to marry his son, Prince Noctis to Princess Lunafreya of Tenebrae, captive of Niflheim, and surrender his lands to Niflheim rule. Although the king concedes, it becomes clear that the empire will stop at nothing to achieve their devious goals, with only the Kingsglaive standing between them and world domination.

The movie's not perfect, but it sticks the landing of its message. It was engaging - thrilling at times - and I personally thought it was a great time.

The film's masterful storytelling did its job. The message was clear. No need to overdo.

A film of deceptively outspoken contemporary relevance, this is cinema at its most alert, alarming and alive.

I saw this movie yesterday and I have to say it's not a bad movie for the graphics. But in plot wise it's pretty boring. The voice actors are good and the action sequences were decent. But the last fight scene felt like it was going on for hours.Anyways its a decent film for graphics but not for plot.

First of all, let me tell all those people who complain about the story, telling that it is just a trailer for the game: Yes, it might only be an introduction, and? The Star Wars universe has games that are better than the movies. Is comparing this film to SW irrelevant? I don't think so. There were reviews crying about there are only two sides. Why is that only a small group of people fights against that mechanized/robot army? Khmm.. Star Wars did the same (3 times). Only two sides? One technologically improved country conquers nearby countries, becomes the biggest and most advanced empire. There is a kingdom that has an ancient power, so it can defend itself and it's nearby countries against the "empire" who slowly annex all the remaining areas, and rule over them with a dictatorship, so there will remain two sides. Of course there will be rebellions within both sides, because of all the nations migrating into a different system and culture. So it's similar to WWs and SW. So watch this movie as an introduction to an other world, and if you are interested in it, you can read novels or watch the Brotherhood: Final Fantasy XV anime series that continues the story from the last scene of the film. (so before crying that it's a game promo film, read about it, so you can find something useful) I would give this film a 8 or 9, but I rated it as 10 because there are so many brainless reviews that I got a bit angry and wrote this review. So final words: If you want a great action/fantasy CGI film, this is just perfect for you. There is a ~5 sec long scene, with a car (futuristic Audi R8) that substitute a whole Fast and Furious film in action and imagination so as it was fun as hell.

Review: This movie truly looked amazing, and the attention to detail was great but if you was to ask me what it was about, I totally wouldn't have a clue. I knew that there was a goodie, a baddie, a princess and a ring but apart from that, I was just going with the flow. The action scenes were also confusing because there was way to much things happening at once but it still felt epic and I'm sure I will understand it better, if I'm to watch it again. As I didn't play the games, I didn't know who was who, or what was what but I did watch the first Final Fantasy movie, which also went straight over my head. There's a lot of betrayal and deceit throughout the film, so the main character Nyx (Aaron Paul) has to rely on his battle skills to get Princess Lunafreya of Tenebrae (Lena Headey) to safety, and with a the dark Lord constantly attacking them for this magical ring (Precioussssss!), you can feel the intensity throughout. Personally, the look and feel of the movie, was more impressive than the actual storyline because it seemed quite messy and over baring in places. Apart from that, I still found it quite amazing, for a film that is made on a computer, and it really does show how far we have come, in terms of making these computer images seem so real. I'm surprised that it didn't smash the box office, mainly because of the popularity of the game, and with the huge effort and scale of the film, I think it deserved much more. Anyway, I did find the movie entertaining but it would have been much better if it was made for dummies. Enjoyable!Round-Up: This movie was directed by Takeshi Nozue, who also co-directed Final Fantasy: Advent Children, so he wasn't new to the franchise. As he hasn't directed any other movies, it's hard to compare his work but I have to commend him for taking on such a huge project and making it look so fantastic. Budget: N/A Worldwide Gross: $1.5millionI recommend this movie to people who are into their animation/action/adventure movies, voiced by Aaron Paul, Sean Bean, Lena Headey, David Gant, Darin De Paul and Trevor Devall. 5/10

The film is great, amazing graphics, amazing actor rendering, amazing everything except a decent story for anyone that is not going to play the FFXV game.I would really give it a 10 however they just left it open for the game (hence the video at the end of the credits), quite a few questions unanswered too (for example what were the demons, how were they summoned, where did they come from?). I had no idea what was happening half the time, why were they fighting, why were some characters so important. All I can say about this film is that it is a introduction to the FFXV game, if you don't own a PS4 or an Xbox One are a gamer or have no intention of purchasing FFXV then this will be just a mediocre very nice polished CGI.I have no intention in buying the game and I feel duped, like a marketing ploy. I won't be buying a console and the game just because of a movie.I think by making the movie an introduction to the game they are alienating anyone not playing the games (at least previous movies were stand alones). The only thing I can suggest is to start reading more on Wiki and once the game is out hunt around on Youtube to see all videos from the game to understand the story better. Obviously this is what I will be doing as they left me wanting more. I wish they would make a sequel once the game has been out to tie things together.By all means, watch it, it is well worth it for the animation, amazing, however bear in mind that it is just an introduction to the FFXV game. If you are someone that has played the previous FF installments, loves the FF universe, pre-ordered and is looking forward to the new FFXV game then this is exactly for you and I highly recommend it. For everyone else...
