"Rendezvous" is a 2-minute commercial from the car manufacturer Jaguar and it features Ben Kingsley, Tom Hiddleston and Mark Strong. What do these 3 have in common? They are all British. And here they tell us why villains in Hollywood films are always played by Brits, which is not even correct by the way. You could find at least as many Americans, no doubt about it. So yeah, I really liked Tom Hooper's "Les Misérables", but in this brief film here he does not deliver in my opinion. Then again, I am really not too interested in cars. Ben Kingsley I am a fan of as well and he is maybe the somewhat only reason to watch this one here. Not enough though, not recommended. Very much style over substance.
