Italians Goose Step for Hitler Trailers

Various shots of Adolf Hitler standing on a balcony with Benito Mussolini and King Vittorio-Emanuele (Victor Emmanuel) III and the Queen of Italy, watching a huge fascist parade moving along the streets of Rome. Male and female troops and groups march past; Hitler grins. A band of young men in uniform march along in a slow and low goosestep; Mussolini makes some kind of signal with his hands that commentator jokes means "If he doesn't do it right, chop his head off". Tanks move along past the Colosseum. Hitler and Mussolini go through a rather comical "After you Claude - No, after you Cecil" bit of business. It look like each is modestly acknowledging the roar of the crowds, while intimating that the glory belongs to the other.

Good films always raise compelling questions, whether the format is fiction or documentary fact.

Each character in this movie — down to the smallest one — is an individual rather than a type, prone to spontaneous changes of mood and sometimes amusing outbursts of pettiness or ill humor.

Not sure how, but this is easily one of the best movies all summer. Multiple levels of funny, never takes itself seriously, super colorful, and creative.
